It is one of its kind in Masama area, bringing treaders(sellers buyers) from all over the villages bouldering masama coveing, Mboreny, Lemira, Marukeny, Ng'uni, Isuki, Ngaya, Mkwasira, Kyuu, Mboso, Mafeeto, Modio, Roo, Kitifu, Kware, kwa Sadala, Boma Kibosho and Moshi Town. Others are from Sonu Mnjulu, Tema, Saawe, Ngira, Uswa, Shari, Kalali and many others, the list is not exhaustive. Exhange of basic agriculural commodities including banana, fruits vegetables, different livestock products, animal feeds and other basic needs and servi es that are needed on daily basis.. The place is however very small and hence congested (traders, buyers, vehicles, motor bikes, carts etc) , passability is diffucult at peak hours, its dirty and chances of contatracting communicable diseases eg. are very high. Authorities should consider looking for a bigger space for this very potential market in the area and solve some of obvious challengers facing the market. Otherwise, it has a big potential not only in the area but in the Hai District Council at large.
