Wendy's

Wendy's in Emporia, KS had it's Grand Opening the week before Christmas in 2019 in it's brand new building. The vehicles were backed up on 6th Avenue for at least a block.

Although Wendy's was extremely busy due to their Grand Opening, all of their workers were pleasant and not pushy. The food came far more quickly than expected; it was hot and tasty.

When the mobile app did not work (remember this was their first day), they were eager to find a solution. That was the only glitch I could detect; most of the time I expect a litany of issues in the first weeks. Perhaps it was due to having another experienced general manager (from their Andover location) there even in the evening.

As I was leaving, and cutting across the drive thru lane, I overheard the employee who was extremely patient and understanding when a customer asked a question. It looks like Wendy's hired workers who exhibited a positive and helpful attitude.

I stopped in while I was in town from Florida to see my grandson who works at this location. Had lunch while there. It had been a while since I had Wendy's a good pick, and getting to see my grandson made it even better.

Staff here are always kind and make their job fun. I really enjoy going when I need my baked potato fix as I hate making them myself. And they always make it perfect with all of my additions.

The food is great, definitely one of the better fast food chains, but this location specifically makes you wait 10-35 minutes to get your food. Last week I ordered a single sandwich and I was the only one in line. Took 40 minutes for them to bring it out.

Absolutely the best fast food burger IMHO. This particular store is one of my favorites.

This is one of the best Wendy's franchise restaurant. Maybe the best! Comfortable, clean, with 5 star service.

The speed is back to pre covid pace! The quality of the food is good, always fresh although sometimes it's rather expensive. The chicken wrap I got today was not completely wrapped, so when I picked it up it fell apart. But that's never happened before, so I think it's an exception to the rule. Drive thru

Went through the drive-through. Hot, fresh food.

They forgot to give us a small fry, so they gave us a large to make up for it. Nice!

Associates was very helpful, clean area to eat at. Prices are very reasonable. Bought spicy chicken sandwiches an they was thinner then usually

They are always pleasant and efficient. The food is what I expect when going to a Wendy's (above par fast food). They also do a great job with requests of no cheese (dairy allergies).

The baconator goes hard. Solid fries and yummy drink options. I had to wait in a parking spot for a while, though.

Just used the drive through but courteous and speedy.

They don't always get the order right but they do the best they can with the limited amount of help they have and the food is a delight and not as greasy as the other fast food places. I enjoy this place!

The lady taking our order made this place a 5. She was one of the nicest people greeting I have ran across. Nice to see people like this. Food was good also.

It's clean, the manager is welcoming and friendly, workers seem to be dedicated to their work, worth eating.

Even though they messed up our meal the first time, the manager made sure to make up for it. He was pleasant not only to us, but to every other customer in the store as well, as he checked in with every table.
