Very well maintained trail. Mostly shaded, a few open stretches.

This is a nice trail for running. It is well maintained and most of it is lined by trees so there is some shade and wind cover. I have ran the trail from Ottawa to Welda. It is basically flat the whole way so it can be used by people of all ages and all fitness levels.

A nice little rest point for the trail or just for the afternoon at the fairgrounds. Has a pavilion, with tables, for shade and parking spaces; including handicap spaces. Also has a small grassy open area.

This is the parking lot for the Prairie Spirit trail. It's a small park with some picnic tables. I didn't see any restrooms.

Rating is for trailhead only. They really need a restroom.
