The best fudge I have ever had! This store is absolutely amazing. The man that owns and makes a lot of the candy is super nice and incredibly knowledgeable. We stopped by on vacation to grab some gifts and candy, but left with the best homemade fudge ever. He makes seasonal and random batches so I lucked out with some orange cream fudge, just thinking about how smooth and perfectly mixed it was is making my mouth water. The Taffy was super soft which was a nice plus, and he even told us about how there's certain candies he won't make if the humidity isn't right because he wants the best quality for his customers. The grab bags were also super cool. Cannot wait to come back and try more!

The fudge is some the best I've ever had. Their fudge is creamy, not hard like so many. We made two stops there to get some fudge and orange puddles for the trip home.

During our second visit I had the chance to talk with the owner. He is a really nice guy eager to talk about his candy making. He is very proud of his product and he should be. It is well above average. I highly recommend. It's a small shop, kind of off the beaten path but a very good find.

I love taffy and found this place a dream come true. So many flavors to choose from. I got 2 pounds getting 4 to 5 of each flavor. Yum. And that's when I found the chocolate display. All handmade. Too many varieties to try them all but everyone got something different and all raved about how good it was. Prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this as a stop when passing through Brookings OR

Got a huge single scoop ice cream in a cone and it was stuffed all the way to the bottom. The pistachio almond flat is delicious.

The shop also has various candy, souvenirs, and crocheted animals.

Outstanding fudge. I normally don't like fudge because it's so rich but they make some incredible stuff. They also have a great selection of saltwater taffy and a bunch of candies that I haven't seen in years. Super fun shop and really nice owner. This is a must-see for any trip down 101.

Stopped by during my first week in town, once for chocolate and once again for icecream on my birthday. The chocolate was good. They also have fudge, which I haven’t tried so I can’t directly speak about but it looked in good condition. They have a decent variety of Umpqua I icecream flavors. Besides Icecream and from scratch candy, they also have a variety of packaged candy including some European imports.

The absolute BEST! I love their taffy, and the pleasing, comforting candy store smell! The female owner is making me some milk chocolate sea foam, and she is so very sweet and kind she seems like my own Mom! Going inside the store reminds me of when my Grandma took me to See's candy store in Minneapolis!!! A wonderful experience made all the better because of the female owner!! Jason

I will always love this place. The fudge is really good. The peanut butter bars never get passed up. Extremely nice and helpful staff. They manage to get people served quick. Always a happy stop.

Amazing fudge!!! Creamy, yummy super great fudge. We have traveled almost every Oregon coast town eating fudge at a variety of places. This is the BEST we have found!!! I especially love the Milk Chocolate peanutbutter bars here as well. We bought a variety of the jams but have not tried them yet.

This place is amazing. Great vegan chocolate! The owner/ manager is personable. I drove 100 miles trying to find his store because i accidently drove past it on the way back to Seattle 😅 I made it 10 minutes before close and he was so understanding.

He wears a mask! And practices sanitation properly, and is proactive with covid-19 safety.

Check this place out they have cool gifts, amazing chocolates, they have ice cream too.

Very unique business very old-fashioned a must need and must have in every community. Sure glad that our town has such a great unique candy store with such nice folks working there. And I could go on and on about the homemade chocolate. Also I think it is very good that they keep in mind the temperature control in the store because it keeps their candy the freshest. These people know what they're doing.

BEST FUDGE! EVER!
I just tried their fudge for the first time. YUM! Definitely the best I've had. Also had a cashew cluster, which was very good too. The staff was super friendly & helpful. They make the chocolates there. Worth the $$.

They make the best fudge here, it's so good and creamy. My husband loves their Mexican fudge. The owners are so very nice and friendly. They also have some wonderful gift items.

The owner was so nice and helpful, and let us sample some taffy. Got lots of taffy and a s’mores culster that he homemade and it was so good I wish we got more!! Definitely recommend!

Im from Medford and have been coming here for years! The Tsunami fudge is what I travel 2 1/2 hrs for. It is TO DIE for! I have tried many types and variations of fudge, in my travels. Whales Tale is THE best! No exceptions.

They make a redbull float that is amazing. If you need some pick me up caffeine and a delicious dessert i suggest you check them out.

Very friendly and a candy junkies dream! Fresh fudge, hand dippped ice cream, salt water taffy, and tons of imported and "old fashioned" candy. Also Brookings-branded souvenirs!

Super friendly & helpful staff, gave me free samples of the jalapeño taffy BTW very good!! Everything from here is delicious! Good selection thanks whale tail!
