Beautiful little hike that leads to the ocean. Even has a super cute visitor center with all sorts of fascinating information about the area.

Me and my family had a great time here. The informational facility itself is nice. It has tons of brochures for both sides of the borderline California and Oregon. It's less than 45 seconds to the beach. The bathrooms are nice big indoor bathrooms with running water. Has a small wetland trail it takes about 5 minutes to walk through. Was very enjoyable. The beach was nice and busy. They have a picnic area also and handicap accessibility. All in all this is a really nice facility one of the nicest ones I've been to. It's worth the trip especially since it's beachfront property. And like I said before it's all about 45 seconds and walk to the beach if even that. Excellent place very enjoyable

One of the best beaches in Southern Oregon. Love all the info you can get at the visitor center. Volunteers are always so helpful.

We walked in this afternoon and were helped by Sandy and then by Diane. They were super helpful, friendly and informed.
We really appreciated Sandy talking to us about hiking the Oregon coast path and directing us to some specific resources.
Some things for the kids there and lots of nature educational information and visual items. Thanks Oregon State parks!
Photo of the beach and sign, which can be walked to from the parking lot access Trail which begins about a hundred yards after you drive past the large Chrissy Fields recreation Center building.

Amazing stop, they have so much amazing parking for any size rig, lovely bathrooms, people seem to come here all day for beach access. Great starlink spot. Dogs can run free on the beach. Casino is right up the street for overnight.

Just 10 minutes from my parents house, one of my absolute favorite places to go with my family. Quiet, clean, and easy access. One of the best beaches in Oregon!

Love it here! It's like driftwood heaven, it's everywhere!! Did not get a chance to go in visitor center, but will definitely take time to stop inside next time I get to Brookings, which I hope is soon. Beach is serene and uncrowded, once you climb over the driftwood, it's a great place to take a walk along the beach and pick up some cool little stone and wood treasures.

Beautiful and informative stop. Nice Beach and great information center. The people working had all sorts of wonderful advice and tips for places to go and see. They had a huge wall of pamphlets and maps. Seriously they had something for everybody. Bike trails, hike Trails, restaurants and kids activities. Most of the brochures and pamphlets had coupons and hours of operation making it super simple to pick out anything we were interested in doing.
Great places to stop and stretch your legs. Clean well-maintained bathroom, Beach was very close to the parking.

A nice beach but you need to walk a few minutes. There are quite a bit of rocks, but the view and river, waterway there is pretty nice. It feels a little warmer than the ocean. I recommend a stop.

This was a good stop. The visitor center had a lot of information, maps, and brochures.

The beach was gorgeous!! The signs say not to walk on the logs, but there wasn't another way to get to the shore. The beach had a lot of cool rocks and driftwood.

Definitely worth a stop.

Beutiful and quiet place to watch the sunset. Old logs built up on the shore which makes an quite unique scene. We were there late and the visitor center building was closed. The parking lot is big.

Amazingly nice people, beautiful beach, although people let their dogs run loose on it. The REC center has free stickers and provides posters and much useful information and many panflets on interesting things related to the area. Beautiful hikes, and view points. Convenient indoor restrooms.

Nice spot on the beach. Big enough to share and have lots of space. Room for fires, and fairly calm safe beach.

This is the best welcome center in Oregon. The staff in here were all just excellent. Super friendly yet professional and very helpful. If I didnt know better I would have bet they were midwesterners. The facility is super clean and safe. They have great information to make your tourist time its best.
