Mark Silver MD

I took my 86yr old Mother, new to town, to see him. He spent over 2hrs with her. He was so thorough and my mom really liked him. He is kind and caring. So grateful he took her on as a patient. Great staff also, very nice and so helpful. Thank you Dr. Silver & Staff.

Dr Silver is the BEST doctor we could ever ask for. My partner is in his last days and Dr. Silver shows compassion and care toward him and also myself having to go through this.

My Partner has Parkinson and I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I quit my Rheumatologist in Medford and allowed Dr. Silver to take care of me. He is doing SUCH a great job.

In January 2003 I went to see Dr Silver about an assault I sustained while working at Pelican Bay. I was kicked 3-times in the head by an inmate and was unable to work due to extreme headaches, sound issues and vision issues. Dr Silver LISTENED to what I was telling him. He was able to diagnosis my injury immediately . Post -Concussion Syndrome aka. Traumatic Brain Injury. I wanted to know more about my injury so I had to learn how to live with a new me before I could do anything else. My career was over, so over time I was able to improve and learn more about TBI. There where no support groups or services available to me.
I have moved to Washington and became active in a non-profit group that helps TBI survivors. Today I facilitate 2 TBI support groups in Pierce County. I am also on the Washington State TBI advisory Council and I am also involved with Washington State University and the Washington Department of Corrections at creating a pilot program for inmates with a TBI and train staff on how to work with them. Also working on providing resources to inmates once they parole so they have some direction on getting services. As far as staff, being able to provide recourses as well and encouraging support groups to help give them a voice as well.
So how does Dr Silver fit in to this? He called my injury professionally and told me what I had to do as well as finding the proper doctor to see to help with rehabilitation. There are doctors out there today that say "You have a TBI, there is nothing we can do, have a nice life. Dr Silver listened. And that was all I needed. .

Maggie is fantastic.

My father in law really likes him. I however was taken back by the fact that he faild to wash his hands nore did he put on gloves. A simple yet extremely important task that if not followed could potentially be very detrimental to my father in law as well as who know how many others.
