Walmart Supercenter

I am older and disabled. Yesterday the cashier who checked me out… Told me she was, “here for me!“ And did everything to make my experience pleasant and accessible. I didn’t catch her name but she was working registered nine at 11 AM on February 5, 2024. Management, please take note. This kind of service is rare and much appreciated.

I love Walmart! Walmart has everything any family would need.

Aways a great store to visit. They have everything you want, and some things you didn't realize you wanted

Got in and got what I needed. Quick and easy. Even found a register manned by a human.

Shelbyville location is clean and well laid out. Produce is fresh and well attended to. Well stocked shelves. Large entertainment area. Pet supplies are plentiful. Easy access to self checkout at both entrances of the store. A nice local hamburger joint serves up a high quality product quickly and brings it to your table or ready for carryout. Pleasant atmosphere. Well placed specials. Friendly helpful staff. Easy entrances and exists to get you in and out of the store to make it easy to get there and return home without traffic gridlock.

Some shelves were low stock due to snow coming. But I got what I needed and was in and out.

Want to give a huge thank you to whoever was honest enough to turn my brown purse in to Walmart Customer Service on 8/16/22. I had either left my purse in the woman’s restroom or had left it in the grocery cart outside. I am still amazed that people who could be dishonest and steal from me instead had the thoughtfulness and graciousness to turn it in. Thank you so much. I pray God will reward you for being so kind to a stranger. What a huge blessing!

Thank you Annette, who showed up at Customer Sercive to help me when it was after 9 pm. I’m not sure how you came to be there, but I felt it was because you knew I had asked about my purse. Thank you for your service and for your compassion. Was very impressed and hope they will acknowledge your great work ethic.

I wanted to call in personally and brag to your manager about you, but unfortunately my house phone isn’t working, and my cell phone doesn’t get service where I live. I hope this will suffice, though I will try to call again next time I have service. You were awesome and deserve recognition. Many—many thanks!

This is a nice and clean Walmart, definitely better than expected.

I found what I needed with no problem Walmart is a very clean environment and I appreciate it they have my respect all the employees are considerate and helpful also kind Walmart has alot of items to choose from and products are great

The customer service in the tire center is awesome, all the mechanics are friendly and hard workers, got a tire changed in less than 20 mins

I was surprised by how good everything was after reading all the negative reviews. Every employee I spoke with was absolutely polite to me and my wife. Even the paid shoppers were quick to move over to let us through and helped us find something that we couldn’t find. They definitely know where things are at since they shop for a living. We’re truck drivers so we go to Walmarts all over the country, this store was as well stocked and clean as any other Walmart.

They had 4 or 5 registers open while we checked out, plus the self checkout lines. Because of our tax status we always need a real cashier so it was nice to have so many choices.

The young man in the electronics section was pretty amazing too. I bought the LEGO Skywalker game for my Nintendo Switch and he seemed as excited for my purchase as I was. It’s fun to meet someone with the same interests.

Walmart has some new things going on. Seems like everyone is up dating all the things. If you don't have Walmart app you need to download it and take advantage of the free 30 day trial of Walmart plus. The scan and go feature they offer is amazing!!!! Can have delivery service too. Not to mention 5 cents off per gallon of gas. You even get discounts in the pharmacy. I think it's at least worth checking out.
Update: Walmart plus keeps adding new features to their App. If u haven't downloaded the app yet you really need to and take advantage of the 30 day free trail run. No strings attached. No hidden fees either.

I shop here at least once a day. And if I ever need to find something the employees always help!!!

The cooked down potato wedges are always sitting in the warmers, barely warm, and the workers refuse to cook more until they are all gone. I have had to get a manager the last 3 times, to get fresh hot ones. They say they are good for 2 hours in the warmers. They take 6 minutes to deep fry. A while back one of the workers was going to throw a new batch of wedges on top of about 10 or less still in the warmer tray. I asked her not to do it. Kids

Kind Understanding. Awesome people. Great mangers except the night manager. He is the newest one that I have notice. Helpful very. Their is one person that when he notice me entering the store, he always smiles and speaks. Of course if he's not busy, if he is he just waves and keeps working. I spend a lot of money in this store. Walmart has been good to me through the past two years I don't know what I would have done without this Walmart that have been really good to me. Nice clean spot on if not everything in place they find it immediately. there was this one time that I wanted a colander it was a newer one better and the product had been moved and a CSM was taking them to the new place. As he pass by me, I said I'll take one of those it was hilarious but great timing.

Putting my dislike of Walmart to the side, this store was very pleasant. I was asked three times if I needed assistance. This never happens at Walmart. Obviously it's the staff that make the store and these folks are doing a great job.
I noted about 10 vehicles doing curbside pickup. The service was very efficent. Staff loading groceries in cars and filling orders.

Love walmart to me home ,am truck driver any state am welcomed ,park my truck sleep in walmart parking lot ,shopping that's walmart is blessed and their competitor , i give walmart 5 stars

It's Walmart. Has everything you would expect. The bakery here though is top tier in comparison to other Walmarts.

It was Great as usual. The young man was so nice and friendly. Please don't stop the " pick up". It sure makes life so much easier for folks with problems walking. THANKS AGAIN!!
