Juniper Point Public Use Area

We love it here! Have a favorite site, love the covered patio... right on the water.
But now the trees need trimming!🤯 They ran all across the top of our rv... and we're semi height.

An important thing to know about Juniper Point is that there is an East Campground and a West Campground. The East campsites have access to the lake for swimming near many of the camp sites. The camp site we rented was D07, Loop D; it is in the West side of Juniper Point park, and it has limited access to the water. You would have to navigate huge boulders on a steep cliff-like area to get down to the water. There is a nearby boat ramp within walking distance and a small beach area next to that that is again blocked off by lots of rocks. This is not a good camping spot for swimming or kayaking/paddle boarding. You could not park your boat near your site. It is, however, a GORGEOUS, generously sized RV camping spot with great views of the lake and sunset (we camped in June), a pristine concrete pad with picnic table and fire pit with grilltop that pivots out of the way if needed, nice grassy areas, and partial shade. It feels very private. We will definitely reserve this spot again in the fall. We'll have to go to the East side next time for swimming.

The construction 🚧 on the highway hides the entrance. It's crazy dangerous too. 😳
This is NOT the fault of the park..but it's still a major problem. Things were clean and people were nice. There was no camp host at this location when we went. I felt safe here.
Near the dock, there are a bunch of stinking fish bodies where people have cleaned their fish and threw the carcass to the side. This is a dogs dream location.

It was great. Customer service was superb at check in and all attendees were very friendly. All areas that we visited within campground were very well kept and wildlife was abundant. We are definitely planning another trip to Juniper Point

Great spot for camping at Lake Texoma with a boat ramp and spectacular view of the lake. Where else can you get a table for two with riverside dining while also practice social distancing?

Loved Juniper Point. So quiet and peaceful. Very clean and well taken care of. Clean restrooms. Very nice park host. We will definitely be going back.

Nice, quiet camping area. We'll maintained. The grounds keeper came around to advice everyone of a pending storm. The black and white cat is friendly. No, we didn't feed her.

Reese the resident camper is super nice and the park is very clean. The only reason I would hesitate to come again is there is not a swim area on the west side of the highway

Amazing views, clean restrooms/showers, very quiet during weekdays and not to crazy loud on weekends. The park attendant is extremely friendly, superb at his job, and is even willing to go above/beyond his normal duties by visiting each occupied site, informing visitors of any inclement weather or otherwise vital information. I would live in my RV here year around, were doing so permitted!!!!

Absolutely Beautiful lake front spots. The spots are fairly level. Camped in 3 so far and very level. Easy access for swimming and boats but some of the shore line is rocks. Some spots are rock front and some are beach front. Fishing from the shore has not been great but is fun. One of our favorite places to camp!!!

Loved it. Got a lot right on the water for $24 a night. Nice covered tables, and a great view. Decent space between lots.

Great place to camp. Strongly suggest hiking skills in some water accesses. Campground was kept clean and was very quiet although the place was packed. It was a great experience.

Peaceful, relaxing, fun, and clean.

It's peaceful when the boats are done for the evening and tonight there's not as many fishermen here. Beautiful at dusk. It is the first night of the season for Texas Mosquitos.
