Grandpappy Point Resort and Marina

I really enjoyed camping here. The staff is awesome and their restrooms are always clean (excluding the females restroom) but that is due to the disgusting female guest that goes there and destroys their bathrooms. If you want to eat at their restaurant make sure you have some money because it is not cheap at all. But this place is awesome for camping.

Always have taken great care of us! Can’t speak in depth to the resort but as a marina it’s hard to beat on Texoma. Put in a service call and it’s done without protest.

We spent the Memorial Day holiday weekend with a family reunion at Grandpappy Resort. The facilities were fantastic and the staff was more than helpful. We stayed in the 4 bedroom, and it was perfect for our family of 9. Close to everything, but far enough away to be quiet.

I’d been looking for a place for 11 of us as we were having a memorial service for my dad on Lake Texoma, the place that we stayed when we were younger wasn’t available and no place else could accommodate as many people as we had. I was just about to give up I found Granpappy’s Point. We all absolutely loved it. The rooms were great, the check in was awesome. We have no complaints at all!!! I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone!

Went on a guided fishing trip. It was fun, the lake was choppy but the guide found us a food spot to limit out the board.

I very much enjoyed my overnight in one of the cabins. I also enjoyed driving down to the lake and eating at the Point Restaurant. While on the restaurant patio i got some kind of sting and the staff was quick to respond and help me relieve it. Food was a little pricey but delicious and staff was friendly. The cabin was very bare bones but spotlessly clean, had cable TV, fridge, microwave and outside fire pit , grill and table. Bed was VERY comfortable. I would stay again.

Nice facilities, clean, friendly good food. Camp ground, boat ramp, i keep a sail boat docked here year round. Still a great place for a weekend of bass fishing

The setting is beautiful! We sat outside the restaurant's covered patio for lunch. The turkey melt w/potato wedges were delicious. There was a nice breeze, it was very relaxing watching the boats. It was easy to maintain distancing. The only complaint is that the wait staff were not wearing masks 🎭

I booked a cabin for one night at the last minute a week ago. Was offered an early check-in right off the bat. When we arrived to check in, the staff were about the friendliest and most accommodating as we’ve ever come across; they even changed our cabin for us on the spot to an even better one because (unbeknownst to us) they’d discovered a loose floorboard in the one we’d rented prior to us arriving and wanted to fix it.
The cabin was perfect: Spartan, close to the water, and spotless. Was able to park just feet from it and even the grill was clean.
The food and drinks at the Marina were fantastic and the staff was great there as well. We were able to eat an awesome lunch and walk down to the beach to spend the afternoon on the clean beach and swimming in the lake, followed by a walk up back up to the Marina for a few drinks before we went back to our cabin to grill. It was so nice out there we spent the next day on the lake again after checking out. Definitely will be making this a regular thing.

Great place to hang out . love the folks on boat house 11! every one is so friendly and willing to help. waiting on my hydro hoist to get installed this week or next my family's so exited .

5 ⭐’s my family of 5 stayed two nights in a cabin , it was a clean , comfy, friendly place . Our cabin was located by the park and basketball court . Kids played hard! We rented a boat for a couple hours and just cruised the lake. We will definitely be back thank you so much ! Amazing staff !! -Laci

We had a great stay at one of their cabins over the weekend.We took the kids to see the fireworks at High Point and wanted to stay overnight. Unfortunately our boat died on us. I called them and they not only towed us to their dock, they sent two mechanics out to get us running again. Weekend was saved. Kids loved the fireworks. Will not hesitate to do business with them in the future.

This was our second time renting a cabin at Grandpappy and it has been a great experience each time! Stayed in Cabin 401 which has been updated and is extremely nice. Large back deck, great gas grill, granite countertops, very clean and nice. Could use more cookware and there were no instructions to access the Wifi, but minor inconveniences. Will definitely rent again!

Absolutely love renting the pontoon boats from Grandpappy's!! They been amazing to us every time we have rented from them. Their boats are in great condition and allow us to enjoy a day on the water/sun! We have had a blast coming to Texoma especially with our dog in tow who loves the water! We will continue to rent their boats on our future trips! Actually, my fiance is even renting from them for his Bachelor party as we continue to have great experiences with them!

Actually bought an express Cruiser through a broker Rick Lemon.....he was super....the Service Department has been reslonsive and the people are super friendly. The office manager hooked me up with a boat cleaning lady....what more could you ask? Wel there is more. Had an opportunity to enjoy the point Resuraunt and was delighted at the food and the view is second to none.i highly recommend it.

Great place . Cabin was perfect, nice meal at the restaurant. Coffee pot doesn't work but we improvised . Will definitely stay there again

Rented a Pontoon for half the day. It was extremely clean and sanitized! Grandpappy is the place for sure! More reasonable than all the other Marina's. Still local enough to all campgrounds. Dawson was friendly, pleasant and well mannered. Couldn't ask for anymore from him. Boss...he deserves a raise!! Definitely coming back! Thanks again Dawson ☺

Very nice rooms and beautiful scenery.

Texoma is one of the most picturesque lakes you can imagine for a boat ride close to DFW! Grandpappy had the pontoon boat ready at time of arrival so it was easy to get going. Locations is close to Eisenhower park shore that we were interested in. There are also excellent wild sand banks on the Oklahoma side of the lake good as a private beach!. Boats has a little sun-roof which helped against the sun that was still quite mild. We had a grate time boating and swimming!
