Had stock sitting g where you had to go around to another aisle and come up

Former employee (ASM) , at a first glance and in comparison to most the store is cleanish … behind the scenes that is not the case & I would absolutely NOT buy cooler items from ANY DOLLAR GENERAL , temps are not well controlled in transit and even when trucks are out of temp we are told to “salvage what we can” knowing the entire truck is in danger zone! District manager Marcus turney cares nothing about his staff and only budget reasonable hours the week before a corporate visit/inventory! Store manager is unprofessional, inappropriate and spiteful and absolutely uneducated about what retaliation means !

Went in Dollar Store Saturday Jan 02, 2024 around 09:00. Upon walking in a gentleman was standing at checkout with no cashier in site. I looked around to pickup what I needed. I went into the break room to ask for help. Then I was ready to checkout and went back to break room and told the lady I was ready to check out. I interrupted her eating breakfast. This store has carts in the isles with stock that needs to be put on the shelves. There are a lot of empty shelves There was merchandise laying in the floor guessing the customers put it there because they don’t care because the way this store is managed. There are 3 Dollar Stores in Trenton within maybe 1/2 mile. If you can’t keep this store organized and stocked maybe you need to close one or two down and put more than one employee stocking, cleaning and running the front. This store is very large and nice. There seems to be lack of management and support here. It’s been this way to quite a while now. Obviously this negative reviews don’t matter.

Hate going to a nice store trying walk in with the cashier standing out front smoking then having to deal with the horrible smell trying to cash out. Absolutely disgusting.😡

We’re extremely rude to my wife and over charged her ON PURPOSE
