DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Raleigh - Durham

We just left the Double Tree after being in town for two nights. This property is beautiful! James at the front desk is AMAZING. He made sure our room had everything we needed, however every staff member we met here was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had one issue during our stay and the hotel was quick to resolve it. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. I worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years and can say this is one of the most well taken care of hotels I've ever stayed in. We can't wait to come back again!!!

I really enjoyed my stay here! We had a same day upgrade availability to a 1 bedroom suite and it looked refurnished and completely brand new! The bathroom looked a little on the older side, but the room overall was great! I had a great night sleep where I couldn't really hear others. Breakfast was also decent as well. With the $15 credit, it's enough for an entree and I believe the cold buffet. Breakfast was okay and better than Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn style breakfast. The cookies are also out of this world! Amazing location in-between Raleigh and Durham.

Excellent location away from the main road. All the staff were extremely welcoming, especially James! Our ac wasn’t working correctly in our room and they offered to switch us but we loved the room so we opted for fans (which they brought right away) and maintenance came as soon as we called the next morning and had it fixed in 5 minutes. With a little updating, this location could charge a lot more! The outdoor area by the lake is very nice to sit and relax day or night. I will for sure return in September when I travel back to the area.

Our room was nice and clean. We had a Jr suit and it was really comfortable. My friend had eye surgery and the hotel was the next building up. We had to be there at 8 am for a follow up the next morning. So instead of driving home and the 2 hr drive back at 5 am we stayed the night. I would highly recommend this hotel. Staff was very friendly. Only thing I ask about that one of the staff didn't seem to know was did they have USB connectors. I forgot to bring my plug, I only had my cord. I was told no but they did have them on the alarm clock, which we found later that night.

We started a 10 day trip at Holiday Inn, but were unhappy with it. We checked into a Hilton and continued to do so for the remainder of our vacation. We stayed in 4 different Hilton hotels and loved them all! This one was a great place to sleep and relax for the night. Clean with all the amenities and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent experience and the view was amazing. I was recognized as a hilton member and the staff who checked us in on Friday expressed exceptional customer service Fred, Star and I cannot remember the other gentleman's name we're outstanding. Thank you for everything. The indoor pool was nice and warm just needs to be cleaned more often with heavy use. But will definitely recommend this property.

I like the fact that the hotel is off of the main street. The staff has been lovely to me from allowing me to check in early to giving me a lovely renovated room (pic view from 627) to staff carrying heavy loads of laundry offering me the elevator as they struggled to balance the linen. I declined but that's customer service, when you are about to tumble over and you say customer first... Bless your hearts. It happened more than once during my stay.

I am staying here in recovery from toxic mold in my apt. Staff have gone all out to help me. I was given a penthouse suite with gorgeous lakeside views. No carpet = Dr.'s RX! This is my dream Christmas-stay.
So peaceful & blessed!

The front desk clerk is hands above the rest. It started with Fred and ended with Mrs. Star. They are on point in all areas. We travel a lot and this place and its employees deserve a hand🎉. We will be back

I absolutely love this Hilton property. The pond behind it has a nice trail to walk and the pool is outdoor! The 2 room suites are amazing and very large. The hotel is tucked away off of the main roads so you can't hear the traffic. Everyone is super nice as always. Kevin, Neely, Rhonda, and countless others are absolutely wonderful!

The room was spacious & clean. The location was great. The hotel has a beautiful lake behind it. You can walk around the lake & paddle boats are available. My room overlooked the lake. It was a great view. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and clean place to stay. Room was a little dated but all in all a good place for the night.

All of The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Kevin on the bar was on point!! His customer service and professionalism exceeds expectations!

So we went to a Christmas party and we lived in Columbia so the party ended at 8 pm and it toke 4 hrs to go back to Columbia so we came here for the entrance my son said “WOAHHHH” because of the entrance the service was great and the room is great I would recommend you come

Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, spacious room and a phenomenal staff. Indoor pool, tennis courts, beautiful lake.

Beautiful hotel. I was in a newly renovated room and I loved it. It was like a little apartment. Front desk is very helpful and attentive. Definitely coming back again.

It was a nice spacious room. Great room service. My husband enjoyed walking by the lake at night. They had a decent pool little chilly though but my kids enjoyed it. I Have nothing to complain about. 🙂

Rating should be on service and cleanliness of the hotel rather than whether it needs updating or not. This clearly was in need of branding upgrades for a Hilton but it was very clean and inviting. The staff was great, breakfast and dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. A wonderful and calm place to stay. In terms of Hilton hospitality standards this met the standards. You can ask for anything more. It takes time for Hotels to be updated so don't let that stop you from staying here. Thanks staff for the wonderful job you all are doing. And kudos to the breakfast chef. He did an amazing job. We will be back

The DoubleTree Suites were clean from lobby to private rooms. The staff were polite and very professional. I had a noisy neighbor but a complaint to front desk agent resolved that IMMEDIATELY. The rooms are very spacious(size of a 1 bedroom apt.) which had an antique look, but very well kept and clean. I will definitely stay here again if I am visiting the area again. There's a lake with a trail, paddle boats, a restaurant on lobby floor plus room service if you choose to use and there are some professional office buildings next to hotel. It is in a very quiet area.

Hotel was a little dated but very clean. Housekeeping set up our pack and plays in advance of our arrival when we called the hotel day of to verify their availability, which made getting our twins down for an afternoon nap a lot easier. We do not travel light (because twin infants) and the kitchenette was large enough for us to wash bottles, feeding utensils, etc and have room to let them dry. Bed was comfortable and suite was spacious. Staff were friendly and greeted us every time we entered and left. We truly felt welcomed and that helped us to relax - it's always stressful traveling with babies and we enjoyed our stay here the most of all in our trip. Next time we're in the area, we will be staying again.
