Food Lion

There was a man in the Meat Department, Tommy...was Awesome!! Helped Us find what We were looking for and suggested an alternative method/recipe that was DELICIOUS!! Clean, Neat&Super Friendly!!

This is a clean and well stocked food lion. There were several checkout lanes available including self checkout. I’m from Maryland and the Food Lion isles were similar to the one where I live which made it easy to find things. The prices were great as well. It was a quick in and out. My favorite type of grocery shopping.

Asked about lottery slips. Purchased mine. Won $500.00

Shelves well stocked. Very clean. Good selection of organic produce. Good everyday low prices.

Food Lion on T.W.alexander drive is a very nice food center. The prices are ok, but you still have to look for bargaining.

It's three years after writing a pretty bad review of this location that I am now happy to update my review to reflect a totally different and wonderful experience with this store.

Recent facility updates have vastly improved the store's cleanliness, product organization, and overall aesthetic. Pricing still remains reasonable (unlike many other grocers in the area) and did not increase with the facility upgrade. The employees remain helpful and positive despite the addition of multiple self-checkout kiosks reducing the time of their direct customer interaction. The store continues being well-stocked even after major weekend sale events that used to consistently empty out the grocer's shelves.

I highly encourage residents in the surrounding neighborhoods and businesses to shop at this store. The store is finally stepping up its game after numerous years of neglect.

My pregnant wife and 7 year old daughter were, strangely, not answering their phones for quite some time. I called Food Lion (where their location was showing) and a very friendly gentlemen walked the store, attempting to locate them (he checked the entire store twice). When he couldn’t locate them, he called them over the intercom to locate them. Very friendly service, he stayed on the phone with me the entire time! Customer service: 10/10!

I rarely shop at Food Lion, but I did so today to prepare for the snow storm. I was totally surprised by what I experienced! Shelves were well stocked and staff were busily bringing out items throughout the store for shoppers. I found everything that I was looking for and at good prices. I may have to rethink my feelings about this chain store.

This store had what I needed, visibly marked so the items were easy to find. The staff was helpful and friendly. I was able to get in and out fast and efficiently. They were covid aware and safe. They required masks and had a member of the staff at a table out front of the store. Hand sanitizer was available for those who wanted some.

The one on 54in Durham, excellent service but the other on 55 in Durham. I was standing at the customer service desk for 20 minutes. Without anyone even caring to say anything to me. Before I noticed their costumer service sign which wasn't in plain view saying they were closed. Both are litterly 10 minutes away from each other but you can early see which workers deserve a raise.Store number 0274 worth me revisiting.

It's a food Lion and we love it! The staff was so friendly and helpful and it was very clean. They had many options and some really good sales. I will be returning here.

Love coming here since it’s so close to my daughters school. The staff is so friendly especially in the mornings & always have a smile on their face ready to check you out by the registers. Ms. Donna was so nice and had great customer service.

My “go-to” grocery store. Always clean and organized. Customer service is, most of the time, friendly and helpful. Even when lines are long, cashiers do their best to get customers in and out of the line. Can’t say this for all Food Lion stores :)

The staff at this location are amazing! The managers are usually easy to find on the floor, the cashiers are always friendly... I can ask anyone on the staff for help finding an item, and they are always quick to help. Just wonderful people!
