NAPA Auto Parts - Walker Auto and Truck

This Napa is a Durham Institution in my point of view. They've been around forever, a lot of mechanics I know enjoy working with them, and they have and extremely knowledgeable, loyal staff. I've not seen a lot of turnover here so you'll see the same faces from one point to the next. The prices are a tiny bit higher than you might find at other places, but it's worth it to me to know I'm walking out with the correct part and good advice if needed. When it comes to repairing your vehicle, I believe you'd rather go with someone you trust than not.

Bought a new NAPA starter for my old Honda. With my AAA discount, it only cost $173 for the starter and $28 for the gasket. Given my car has 253,000 miles on it, I didn't want to drop too much money (especially for OEM).

Only thing disappointed to see was the part was made in China. Hopefully it will last. I'll update in a year or if it fails (whichever may come first).

Had to do some returns on parts purchased, a bit complicated - Rick took care of it all and even paid it forward of a sorts!
Most importantly.... None of their staff EVER give of ANY creep vibes(I'm female, in an auto shop, it always happens). I'm so appreciative of the staff here, i feel they know what they're doing, they're nice and efficient and I feel safe :) great location, parking is easy!

Always helpful staff. Could I order a replacement headlamp bulb for a dollar less? Yes, but would there be any real assurance that it would be the right one? Nope. I'll pay the extra dollar to have someone who knows better than I making sure what I get is what I'm supposed to have. Thanks people!

Super helpful! I needed a new battery installed in my RV. Even though they're not officially staffed for such services yet, they took mercy on this poor girl and installed it anyway! Thank you so much for your above and beyond service 🥰

Good to find an autoparts store that dont hire anybody with a pulse. Their guys know their stuff and have never had a problem with parts not fitting. The carlyle tools are great too.
