I have been coming to the salon over 15 years and i am never disappointed. I am always pleased with my styles no matter what it is braids or weaves! Not to mention i am never there more than 4 hours. I strongly recommend Thiossane Hair Braiding!

Fatou, Mrs. Sofi, Marie all are wonderful natural hair care providers who take care to move with speed whilst delivering some of the trendiest looks in braids. My sister referred me to them and I have been sitting in their chair ever since , now bringing my eight year old for her braiding needs, Fatou has not disappointed us; just show her the picture and she will deliver it or even better like my most recent visit this past Saturday 1/13/24. From cornrows, to fishtails, to box braids with a twists I have been serviced for all the aforementioned with no issues anticipating future styles they also provide to include jumbo knotted braids, crochet passion twists, flat twist etc. Hair is provided for most styles just come with your tresses washed & completely dried or be willing to pay a lil extra for a shampoo with your braiding service, you will not be disappointed. They all are a group of cordial warm professional and affordable natural hair care providers that I have dubbed as my “Aunties”, they have my business as long as I am in the triangle and whenever I come to the city of Medicine thereafter, Hoping your experience will yield the same🥰‼💅🏾

This is a really nice place. Great customer service and everyone is so nice. I totally recommend coming here to get your hair done. Every time I get my hair braided it looks nice and it last long.

Very pleasant experience at Thiossane salon. I got the kinky twists and was done in four hours. The space is very clean and all the ladies were friendly. The price is very affordable and they had the kinky hair on site. Would certainly recommend if you're looking for some place to get your hair braided.

EDIT: I went back for crochet braids. As some other reviewers mentioned, they do make you comb your own hair. Also, from my experience the hairstyles are very tight. This second time around I took ibuprofen beforehand and that helped with the pain but just be aware of the tightness of their braiding.

The service is always friendly and professional! I have tried many different hairstyles (breads, crochet) and I have never been disappointed. I always walk out looking professional and the styles last for months. I plan to continue going to them. Life is so much easier when you don't have to mess with your hair and wake up a 4 year old in the morning. The definitely have my future business.

It’s been about 5+ years since I had any kind of long braids and I was planning on going to a concert and really needed some knotless braids…other stylist a tried to get appointments from were booked or I just had a large deposit to pay before the appointment… so I got referred to a coworker who would get her braids done here all the time. So I made an appointment and one of the braiders there got started right away and I was done in 3 hours (no breaks were taken)… the parts were neat and the braider gave me exactly what I asked for. It’s been about a week since I had them done and they still look good 👍🏾. Thinking about going in for a touch up but overall it was a nice environment to be in.

The ladies at Thiossaine are always nice & welcoming to all! I’ve been going to them for about 4 years and I’m always pleased with my hair, they don’t pull out your edges! My braids are always neat & clean! And it’s always a pleasure coming to them!

This is the ONLY place I go and take my daughter. The ladies are from Senegal. And if you know anything about Senegalese braiding, you know it's IMPECCABLE and comparable to none. No knots at the roots or an unnatural hairline. The braids are very well done, uniform in size, just beautiful. They last for at least 2-3 months and are NEVER too tight.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! I was looking for a place to get some braids for a vacation and I was walking by the shop and stopped in. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in and scheduled an appointment within the next day. I had a AWESOME experience and it was super fast. I will definitely go back to this salon for future services.
