La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh/Durham Southpoint

We were greeted upon arrival like long lost friends or family. Very sweet Managers and Staff.Very friendly. We felt welcomed.The room was big very nice clean big comfy beds smelled fresh and clean. Nice welcoming packets of coffee and tea with makings. They have a nice gym and huge out door pool. Course it was too cold to swim. Their breakfast is huge . Both hot and cold foods eggs sausage grits oatmeal 3 kinds of breads waffles. Place is close to everything we wanted to do and see. Prices reasonable our one day turned into a four day stay we do recommend LaQuinta..

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. For future reference book all of your nights at once. The only thing I can say is that if you travel by bus and have to walk or my case power chair there was a patch where it was very dark prior to arriving at the hotel. While you go out for food go to Jimmy's famous hotdogs. Catfish special and banana pudding and coconut cake and SWEET TEA. THE hotel is not far away from shopping and events

I stay there from February 16 to 21 in room 204 it was excellent the room was clean housekeeping came on a regular I don’t have any complaints would recommend this hotel to other people and will stay again. The only thing they need to do is step up their continental breakfast more.

I’d highly recommend staying here. We had to book last minute and the highlight of my stay was the remarkable kindness and the willingness to go the extra mile truly made me feel valued as a guest. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. They’re pet friendly and the staff was accommodating and so welcoming towards my fur baby. The exceptional customer service, clean and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, and convenient location makes this a great place to stay.

Quick and easy check in and out! Location wonderful. The room was a bit dated (lamp shades and pillows need upgrading). They have the tiniest toilet 🚽.

This La Quinta was the perfect place for us and our dog to relax and get a great nights rest in. I loved how tucked away and private the hotel is while also being very close to the highway. There is also ample outdoor space for our dog. Some pet friendly hotels barely have any outdoor space so this was appreciated.

The hotel seems very well taken care of and clean. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. I love the entry way space with the mini fridge and coffee maker. Our room also had a huge desk, king size bed and couch. Even with all of this the room felt spacious and not cramped at all.

Unfortunately we were unable to grab breakfast because we were in a hurry on our way out but it looked very good and like it had a lot of options.

We felt very at home in this La Quinta and would love to come back!

Nice clean hotel. Excellent customer service. Spacious rooms. A few of the lights were out in the courtyard, and the gazebo. The trash in the gazebo wasn't taken out the whole time I was there. I borrowed a vacuum from two separate house keepers that came to my room minutes after I got it and rushed me to give it back. I know they have work to do but a customer should never be rushed when they are cleaning their own room. Breakfast was great and replenished often. I was disappointed that there were no pastries though. Half the jets in the spa didn't work, one of the filters in the bottom was loose and would pop out of place if you touched it. There wasn't much space to walk my dog. For a three star hotel, however I was treated by most staff like royalty even though I am scruffy in appearance. Office staff are eager to help, and that was very refreshing. Great customer service and a clean hotel covers a multitude of sins.

I highly recommend this place! I've stayed at several hotels over many trips, and most have a few negative points. But this is one of the very best I have stayed at! I only spent an overnight, but the double bed room layout was interesting and roomy enough to put in a rollaway bed. There was an elevator at each end of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and polite, and the breakfast was "yummy". They even had little waffles for younger kids. There was a little gazebo in a courtyard that was very pleasant in the evening, and the pool was deep enough to enjoy without worrying about the big kids. The next time I am in the Durham area, I will definitely stay here!

Wanted to express my appreciation to the facility and staff for begin flexible and understanding. They were extremely accommodating and willing to meet my needs in a professional way. I had made a reservation because I was planning to have surgery, unfortunately surgery was canceled. I was planing to pay for the full reservation although we had decided to go home early. The staff was very understanding of my situation. The breakfast was great, facility was clean, and beds were comfy! I would recommend La Quinta in Durham to anyone looking for quality hotel to stay with!

The lodging was excellent. Customer service was awesome, friendly, very polite and professional. The housekeepers were nice also. The spacious room was plenty for my family of four. Breakfast was definitely worth waking up for. Loved our weekend stay.

It was an amazing stay. I was there just overnight to drop my daughter off at college. The gentleman that checked us in was very polite and had a smile. He was informative about anything I may need during our stay. The room was spacious and very clean.

I have two dogs and we needed a place to stay while traveling from Atlanta to Annapolis. This hotel was ideal. We were in the "pets" wing of the hotel, which has direct and easy access to the back parking lot through a back entrance/exit. I was able to take the dogs outside to do their business without bothering anyone, and there were doggie bags and a trash can to make clean-up and disposal very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with pets, and I would absolutely stay here if I didn't have pets as well. The staff were friendly, the room was immaculate, and the hotel was quiet and comfortable.

Rooms are very clean. Staff is awesome. Unfortunately pool and breakfast are a no go because of quarantine, but we made the best of our visit. Room we had was pretty decent in size. Overall nice place to stay. In a food location. Plenty of places around to find food.

We stayed overnight in August. The rooms were cozy and there were at least 5 outlets available for charging devices and whatnot. There were air conditioning controls. They serve free breakfast (my dad loved the waffles) and have a fitness center and pool (open from 10am-10pm). The water in the bathroom can get hot enough to make steam but the water pressure in the shower was awful at night and pretty bad in the morning. The hair dryer the hotel had was very low power so we had to use our own.

I have stayed at La Quinta before and it was awesome. Nothing much has changed. Maybe it's slightly better in regards to room selection, but it's still one of the best hotels to stay in. I value a clean hotel and room, and La Quinta delivered that. The air conditioning unit was quiet and made the room extremely comfortable. The water was cold when I needed it to be and hot when I needed it to be. I will definitely stay there again when I return to the Durham area.

We were on a 13 hour (minimum) drive from Delaware to Georgia and grew tired halfway through, so my friend and I found this hotel on Hotel Tonight. We have 2 cats in the car that aren't in carriers because they stay in the trunk to roam and a larger dog (50lbs) so we called ahead about them because they have a 2 pet limit. They were able to accommodate us even though it was very last minute (around 9pm at night), and with no pet fee despite the extra pet, which we really appreciated. They also didn't mind that we carried our cats in (as long as we kept control of them, I'm sure lol), and didn't mind our dog's size. The room was clean, and surprisingly much bigger than expected, and they were even able to get us a room with a double bed and on the first floor so it was easier to bring our pets in. And for $67, we can't really beat that! There were minor flaws to the room, which are to be expected since this hotel isn't a 5 star one, but none of them were huge or hindered our stay. They made our road trip a lot easier and we were able to get some great sleep. There was no pests, no water pressure problems, plenty of hot water, everything operated correctly in the room. The hotel itself was pretty quiet except for loudly closing doors every now and then despite us seeing 2 other dogs at least, we didn't hear any other pets! The area is nice too, mainly just other hotels and a few restaurants since its right off the interstate, and there weren't any weird or suspicious people hanging around outside like I've seen at other hotels. Overall, I definitely recommend! Also, I never spoke to the man who helped us that night, but my friend did and she said his name was Oneya? I'm not sure if that's spelled right, she said there may have been an S at the end but she doesn't remember, but he was especially helpful and was the one to allow us to bring our pets!

My mother and I stayed here last night. We were very pleased with our stay. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The room clean and pretty. Fast and easy check in, fast and easy check out. Great price for a 3 star hotel...wish I'd consider a 4 star! I highly recommend and I will definitely stay there again if I ever need a room in the area again.

Stayed 2 days. Hotel was very clean, room recently updated. Everything in room was nice and they even had my decaf coffee! Front desk staff was nice and accommodating. Parking was perfect, with short walk to room. Good location and close to everything you need. I will stay again.
