City of Loveland Police Department

Just needed to check on some documents for my son. But records dept. was closed on Sunday. However a lady was on the phone with me, and she was very kind and helpful. TY.

1. I went to the LPD with an issue and they were very gracious in helping me resolve it.
2. I was pulled over as I had a tail light out. I think the people who were driving behind me probably appreciated that I was informed. I now have working tail lights.
3. I live on a very busy Street and it makes it difficult to walk the dogs and visit neighbors. I appreciated that they came to our street to catch speeders. I was told by neighbors at the speeders have already hit a couple vehicles. I sure wish in a residential neighborhood people would slow down.
4. Someone hacked into one of my accounts stealing quite a few items online leaving behind a paper trail with an address out of state. I called the police department in that town and inform them what was going on. I was informed I needed to contact our Police to start the investigation and they would communicate with the out-of-state Police. I did just that and the police officer was very nice!!!
I don't understand negative reviews this Police department received they have been very good to me!!

I had a very pleasant experience with Officer Greg Harris. I was very uneasy about the situation, but he talked me thru it and was able to help me. Normally officers I’ve dealt with are point blank do their job type of people. Greg, was compassionate and went out of his way. I’ve never had a problem personally with loveland police department. Each one of the officers I’ve dealt with are very kind and efficient at their jobs.

They've always been very professional. I've lived here over 20 years. A couple bad apples don't ruin the whole batch in this case by far. Thanks for your service!

Despite all the crazy things happening in the world. I want to thank the officer who helped my 12 year old son and I Saturday night. We got out the movies a little after 11 and every place was locked. There was a man screaming out of control and came running at my son and I and the theater doors were locked and no employees insight luckily a business across the street opened the doors after I pounded on the windows. But the 1 cop showed up so fast and was so nice. He treated my son with respect (he wants to be a cop) He drove us to our car and followed us home to make sure we made it safe. Due to a previous situation I went through in our old town and a guy trying to kidnap me on a walk I'm still scared of everything and he definitely made us feel safe!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Not every cop is bad in the crazy world we live in!

Pretty thankful for the professionalism of the department and in particular, officer Gr****. An aggressive homeless man went out of his way to approach my gal and I on Valentines Day. He stated yelling and getting in my face. Officer Gr**** showed up at the perfect moment to resolve the situation without any form violence. Calm, cool, collected and professional. Very thankful citizen.

I live out of state we were conserned about my daughters grandmother. After many calls with Officer Marner, he never complained once and was very nice!! He also found the information we needed to put her grand daughters at ease for now! This Officer needs to be rewarded for an excellent job he’s doing!!!!!! Thank you again Officer Marner!!!!! 💙

A neighbor was screaming out clearly in danger. The loveland police arrived within 2 minutes and everything calmed quickly. Thank you for your prompt response and handling of the situation.

Called for information today on the downtown parking garage. Was help by Dept. Hart 791 He could not have been more helpful or understanding. Happy to know he's protecting our community!

I was on Eisenhower this afternoon and thought it was super cool that three squad cars escorted a person who had run out of gas to the gas station ......to protect and serve awesome ......thank you

We had a small crime happen in our neighborhood. I called in to report. The police were extremely polite and responsive.

We've had countless experiences with the kind officers that serve our community.
