I have had nothing short of the best experience with Brian and his staff at Haynie & Company. He is always very thoughtful and takes a lot of extra time throughout the year to answer my questions and offer his professional advice. I was first recommended to Brian from our Book Keeper. Brian has completed our Business and Personal tax returns for us over the past 4+ years. Unlike our previous accountants Brian is very personable, takes the time to understand our business and then puts the best game plan in place to make sure we are most successful. With just a month or so before taxes were due, Abbey Irvine and her team really provided a thorough evaluation of my 2018 taxes. This particular year was a year of transition for me and there were a lot of legal things to consider, potentially making this tax return more difficult to evaluate and assess.

Great firm, extremely professional.

This was a very frustrating and disappointing company to work with. A friend referred me to have Brian Jacobson work with me on my taxes. Brian quoted me a price to do an S Corp and so I said ok I agreed on the price. He the pawned me off onto Sam because supposedly he knew more how to do real estate taxes. These are simple S Corp taxes. Nothing out of the ordinary. He charged 1600.00 to do S Corp taxes and I was quoted from Brian around 660.00. During all the times I talked to Sam, he never once told me he was going to charge me 1600.00. I said "fine get this over with and never use him again". Then I get another bill for 800.00 to do my individual taxes that are a part of my S Corp taxes. This is 2400.00 he charged me to do simple S Corp taxes. I have never had an accountant charge me this absorbent amount and on top of it do them separately. My individual taxes are apart of my S Corp so why would you charge me twice and not let me know about it? Just make sure you know exactly how much they're charging you before you commit. I have never had any accountant split them up and charge me essentially twice. The S Corp is essentially an umbrella over my individual taxes so why would you separate them. The only conclusion I can come up with, is to make more money and not fully disclose how much you're charging until the client is so far into the tax season that they have no other choice to pay them. Unscrupulous!

This was a horrible and frustrating experience!!
