Went there for lunch today and WOW.....the food was so good! The chips and shells are homemade and the salsa was so yummy. I had the crispy beef taco and cheese enchilada and it was really good. Love the beans. It's a cozy place with a great atmosphere. Service was fast, friendly and you can tell it's homemade goodness! Will be back!

DO NOT PASS UP ON THIS FAMILY OWNED, AUTHENTIC MEXICAN RESTAURANT!! Anytime I’m in northern Colorado, I come to this restaurant multiple times. Its so clean and the atmosphere is perfect. It’s tucked away off the main road next to the bakery. The family that owns this place are the kindest people and the food is always spot on. Breakfast burritos, the carne asada plate *chefs kiss* The Colorado breakfast is so good. Don’t miss out if you’re craving real Mexican food. I forgot to take a picture so enjoy my boomerang.

Delicious food, Amazing staff, Authentic Mexican atmosphere! They were so nice to give us sopapillas for my mom who’s dad is in the hospital, and everyone is so nice! Highly recommend

Service was over the top amazing! Super friendly and accommodating staff. We have eaten at too many Mexican restaurants to count and La Casita has the best salsa and refried beans we have ever tasted! So delicious and very clean tables and bathrooms.

We chose this place because it was close to home and we were looking for something new. We had a really nice lady for a server. She was so sweet and friendly. Our food was fantastic,I got the relleno and burrito. We will definitely be back!!

My dish and my fiancé dish was SO good. Yes I taste both! Definitely will be regular customers. Highly recommend

Not only is this a wonderful family owned restaurant with the KINDEST staff, but this place is a vegetarian heaven. The refried beans do not have lard, the green chile is vegetarian, and you can get mole cheese enchiladas when on special (!!). The green chile is one of the best I’ve had, and is well rounded and flavorful, but beware the medium packs a punch. It is especially good in their unrealistically affordable and filling breakfast burritos. Support local, cause this place is AMAZING.

Authentic Mexican. Hole in the wall spot. This place is the gem of Berthoud. BEST chile relleno in Colorado… maybe the entire United States.

I have to write a review about their chorizo!!! OMG!! Amazing flavor and not dripping in grease!!! I order a bacon and chorizo breakfast burrito and it’s amazing!!!!

The salsa was delicious. I got a deluxe beef burrito with a side of rice and beans. Mild. It was perfect. The chili was good. I will definitely be back.

A great family restaurant. We have had their breakfast burritos and they are always amazing. This time dinner. It was like eating at person’s home. The atmosphere was amazing.

Not sure who the lovely lady was training the new guy but she was wonderful! She charmed our daughter and hence, me as well. Please treasure her! Memorizing personality!
Food was excellent. Fried cheesecake was a delight! Plates were generous. The patio was perfect. Loved every minute of our experience.

I have had breakfast here about 5 times and wow. The food is great with tremendous flavor. Been going to another Mexican restraunt because it was the best, but I moved here. The service is great and the food comes out quick. I have had the steak and eggs and the pork chops and eggs and they are great. This is a hidden gem for Berthoud so give them a try you won,t be disappointed.

I absolutely love this place! Authentic Mexican food that taste amazing. The service is phenomenal! You will not find better service anywhere else. Definitely have become regulars here.
