I wanted to share my pieces that I got from this please. Such a fun project!
I burned the tree in with shotgun powder and a hot pen for outline. And then did the hot pen for the lettering and fill in.

Called them and waited for her to show up, she came and was willing to dig thru a trailer to help me find what I needed. I LOVED her attitude and her effort! She definitely loves her wood 😜 any wood projects I need in the future, I'm definitely willing to make the hour drive!

They go above and beyond to find you that perfect piece of live edge! Prices are great and everyone is very nice. Got a great piece of honey locust and turned it into a wonderful shelf. Thanks!

I have been wanting to build a epoxy live edge river table for a long time. I had been looking for lumber slabs all over the state and on line. The prices,shipping costs and milling were outrageous. I finally found Mourning Reclaimed wood in Loveland. Upon arrival the slabs in the front window were beautiful and immediately caught my eye. That was nothing compared to the great selection of different species, cuts and dimensions on hand. I found a beautiful cut of red cedar that i just loved. The owner Brandon came in and said he had a bookend cut in the kiln and asked if I wanted to see it. He went to the kiln and came back with several slabs on the back of his motorcycle.( Thats great customer service!) The 2 pieces were a perfect match and exactly what i needed. The milling on these 2 pieces was almost perfect cuts and will require a lot less prep for the final product on my end. Brandon and Larissa were fantastic in every way. From the attitude, the customer service, and going the extra mile for me. I highly recommend going to them for any type of slab lumber. The selection and quality of the product and the knowledge of them can not be beat. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY AROUND. I will be doing business with them agian in the very near future!

Mourning Wood is AWESOME!!! They have such a wide variety of slabs that it’s almost overwhelming. The prices are very competitive and the service is great! I purchased an ash slab that was turned into an epoxy table and I couldn’t have done it without them. If you’re in need of a slab go check them out!!

Purchased some Ash slabs and made this table. Mourning Wood had the best variety, prices were fair and they were very friendly. Would purchase from them again.

What a statement our garage walls make now! The reclaimed wood was an excellent choice!

We purchased some smaller live edge walnut pieces. I made my first River cutting board!. Any flaws in the project are my own doing. I’m coming to this place again!

I am very impressed with my coffee table. It really adds a nice artistic touch to my house. I didn't know how much a custom piece can bring out the colors in my room! You can tell it had time and love invested into it! I love it because it will be a conversation piece for years to come.

They moved to a different location. They are now in the big white barn with a green roof across the street. It's still a great place to shop for wood, and it is easier to see all of the slabs now that everything is spread out.

Great place with a vast selection of wood species and all of them are at an affordable price. I only gave it 4 stars because the address is right, but there are different businesses in the same building but not identified on the storefront. Their shop is through the gates and on the left, and they've got shipping containers that they store the slabs in. Larissa is friendly and helpful and can give you the areas where the wood was harvested. I will come back in the future for another project.

Brandon custome made barn doors for our new home. We wanted a rustic but contempory look and feel. This guys got talent. He took the time to show us different types of wood and teach us about them. We love his work and cant complain about price. He is knowledgeable, talented and got the job done in no time. We are ordering a bedframe and nightstands next. Thank you Brandon! We love the dining room tables w that awesome burn pattern also.

drove over an hour just to check out wood:) when we arrived we were greeted by Larissa! she led us to some of the best slabs of wood...lots and lots to choose from! brandon was fantastic and you could see he is sincere and passionate about what he does! we left with a truck full and a new connection! we are excited to play and see what we can create...thank you Brandon and Larissa for everything!! we will be back!

I’ve bought 2 queen bed frames, some wall art, and a boot cubby from Mourning Reclaimed Wood, and will likely be buying additional furniture from them in the future. We searched everywhere for reclaimed wood beds across the internet and in a bunch of manufactured furniture stores, but couldn’t find anything that didn’t look mass produced. Both of our bed frames we purchased are exceptionally crafted and truely unqiue. My only regret is we bought our master king bed frame before finding Mourning Reclaimed Wood from AFW for 3 times the price and it looks about half as nice. Brandon is also really great to work with...he is very passionate about his craft and is very excited to show you all of the projects he has been working on. Highly recommend purchasing from him as at the prices he charges you won’t be able to find anything nearly as nice.
