1st time there! I loved it! The view was gorgeous! Wonderful employees It was busy which is good for business. I had the grilled chicken with melted Swiss cheese and bacon. So good!!!! I will be back!!! Highly recommend!!!!!

The food was exceptional and reasonably priced. Service was fast. We had the grumpy minnow burger and chipotle burger and the were excellent. Fries were very good and so were the onion rings. Nice atmosphere and unique bathrooms. Very nice location right overlooking the lake.

Unbelievable how delicious the wild rce soup, the potato salad (just like Mom made), the walleye, even the bread! By far the best meal I've had in years!! Plus the view and service was outstanding! We are from Oregon but we will be back!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD!!! The menue has something even for my picky eaters. We all loved the food! 10 stars if it were possible! The location is neat as well! We will most certainly be returning and recommending! Save room for the best carrot cake ever!!!

Excellent food, Best chicken wild rice soup I have had in a restaurant. Burger was very impressive as well, cajun pasta is a must. Lacking a propper drink menu especially since they have a pretty decent selection, including diet ginger beer (mules). Worth the trip just for the food we had. Great lake view, average bar atmosphere, clean.

Went to this place on our way back home from Duluth. We'll worth the trip. Good food, decent prices, and good service. Only complaint, it was cold in there.

This place was great if you like small out of the way restaurants... Stopped here on way back from a road trip up north with the family, and everyone was pleasantly surprised.. Food and atmosphere were amazing... the only negative was our waitress must have been worn out as she has the personality of a paper weight.. but if are ever in the neighborhood, try this place out...

Been in the service industry my whole life! Great place!! The steak bites were great, view amazing!!! And our service was impeccable from our amazing waitress Lena...so busy waited on us with a smile and kindness! Keep up the good work! Worth the tiny drive, definitely a diamond in the woods down a back road of rural paradise! Won't be disappointed!!

Thank you for staying open for take out! Take out the last few weeks has been top notch! Just like their normal staff inside for a meal or drinks, you will be greeted with a friendly person on the phone accepting orders and grateful folks bringing your food to your car outside. Request for Black Thread to play on the patio again this summer?!! Hint hint... :)

A friend reserved the igloo. It was nice. Something different. The food and service were great!! We'll definitely do it again.

Great place on Rush Lake. Amazing service from start to finish. Easton was our server and got our drinks right away, our food came out fast and was delicious, and they have off-sale! Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

What a great lake side bar and restaurant!! Good menu options and right by the dock. Lake views from every window.

My husband wasn't impressed with the pulled pork. (He's had great ones and compares every one he has to them) However, I had the chipotle chicken sandwich, it was amazing! I will definitely be coming back. And the prices were very good! The service was great! The place was fairly busy for a Tuesday night. Almost every table was full.

Update we've been back multiple times and the food is amazing! Avoid the fries..... They are not good. But the chips are great!

Warm Saturday we went and they were super busy. But got a table within 15-20 min. And waited about 40 min for food. Not bad.

My wife and stop here everytime we go fishing in Rush Lake. Perfect setting to take a break during the day from fishing, just pull the boat right up, hop out, get some great food and a cocktail and then back out fishing! Great place!
