It’s strange being in a bar that allows smoking; and even tho I detest it, it’s extremely nostalgic all the same.

The burger was great! Little too much mayo for me, but like I told the BT… “I forgot how much yall like your mayo down south!” 😂 I’d order a burger again, but maybe mayo on the side. Tho the okra was frozen/pre-bagged, it was still great.

Seriously tho. Service was amazing. Drinks were great. Clientele was friendly and awesome.

These folks treated me like I’ve been coming there for years, and I loved that. If I lived here, I’d be a regular for sure.

Great place to hang out! Service is exceptional. Mel is a great bartender and very attentive to everyone in the place. The music is great and best of all it’s not too loud to have a conversation. Drinks are good and the atmosphere is fantastic. I didn’t eat anything but I saw some great looking wings come out of the kitchen. The buns on the burgers and Mel and Kimmie are PHENOMENAL!

Quite literally, metaphorically, physically, and geologically the best dive bar I’ve ever been to. It’s smokey as heck in here so you’ve been warned. Great bartenders, food is exquisite. Pool tables in great shape and only 50¢. Nice laid back regular crowd. Stop in if you’re in town for a few days. 5 out of 5 stars.

We stopped by while on a road trip and were very satisfied. The set up is simple: on one side are several pool tables, then a small bar, and finally an open area with tables for seating (some bar height some normal height). The staff was very welcoming and friendly. As soon as I walked in Mel (waitress) introduced herself and welcomed me in. Once we were seated she was quick to take a drink order while we looked at the menus. We ordered wings and burgers. The cook, Jason I believe, brought the food out with a smile and asked how we were and if we needed anything. Overall the food hit the spot, the beer was good and cold, and we felt very welcomed. I would stop in again without hesitation.

CDs is the best bar in town. Great owners, yummy food, fun atmosphere, great service... Mel is the best bartender there ever was hands down. So attentive and friendly to her customers. Her customer service skills are unmatched. Give CDs a go and you won't be disappointed. I promise! The best!!

Truly one of he best places to hang out in town drinks, food, and prices are great! The bartender Mel makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in and does some amazing drinks. Weather you’re local or just visiting town you’ll feel right at home from the moment she greets you.

We’ve recently been going here on Tuesday nights. It’s quickly became my favorite spot. Mel, the bartender is absolutely incredible. She has the warmest, most welcoming personality and takes great care of us. The food is also extremely delicious and the pool tables are in fantastic shape.

Nice little dive. The bartender, Danielle I believe, knows her music, which is nice. Wasn't too loud, was a decent mix. I'm a smoker, and grew up around smokers, so that's never bothered me. But the place is properly ventilated, so it's not like your sitting in a haze of smoke. Didn't try the food. Prices aren't outrageous. I'll likely go back.

Love this place. Good place to just chill and low key. Drinks is affordable on reasonable rate. Mel is just the best bartender, very sweet and remembered our names right away the 2nd time we came back. Open till 2am!

Awesome laid back late-night spot to grab food and hang with a chill crowd. Food is always fresh, drinks are always well stocked, and the staff is super cool. Pool tables are $0.50 and darts are cheap too. Hit em up on Thursday nights for trivia or Fridays for epic karaoke. Weekends are usually packed, so head in early to get a spot.

I always walk in with awesome service, they are phenomenal and always have my drink or food in a timely manner. Also, the food is great and never had anything bad. I love CDs and will come back.

My kind of place. The burgers are just perfect. I want to open a pub just like this in my home town.

I've been to this location 3 times when visiting my in-laws. The food at this location is amazing. The atmosphere is very inviting and the night's two nights we have witnessed Karaoke have been such a phenomenal performance and the crowd was so eager to cheer them on. This is actually a must stop for us now when we are in town.

Love the food and definitely love the employees! A great place to go play pool or karaoke and trivia! You can still have a conversation with someone while they have entertainment going on. And there prices aren’t astronomical like other places 😊

Greatest dive bar in Madison!! Perfect for hangout! Never a cover,just good people.. Kim n Jason on the weekends are awesome n Mel during the week are excellent..the only bar that severs food after 1am.. pool tournament Saturdays..

Haven't actually been there yet, but, this place is run by awesome people! A coworker had a house fire and they donated gift cards to help out. We will definitely be going here to spend some time with these wonderful people!

Bring your A-game, B-game, woes, lows, ah-ha's, high 5's, laughter outbursts, your appetite and a smile and find yourself welcome no matter what or where you're from or even where you're going or not, lol.
This place is fantastic and always friendly. Brand new to the area and I find myself just having to swing by just to say hello and share my gratitude at least once a week.

Needed a place to get some dinner late. The reviews brought me here because it reminded me of my home bar in RVA. Alissa(sorry if I got the spelling wrong) provided great service and made this a place to stop back next time I'm working in town. All y'all should check this place out.
