Hands down the BEST pizza in Alabama! Totally worth the 40 min drive we have! Tastes just like the pizza we had back in Chicago (its like Giordano's for those who are familiar) and it only took us the 4 years of living here and several failed attempts at other places to find this DELICIOUS GEM! Pizza Ed is our new and ONLY pizza place!!! We purposely order 2 large pizzas each time just so we can have left overs for the following day! SO TASTY!!!! The staff is fantastic, especially since they are always packed but they do so well keeping up. If you want outstanding pizza.... come here!

Absolutely one of the best places I have EVER been to. The pizza is Amazing!! We had the thin crust Chicago Tavern style. Perfectly crispy. Sauce is sweet, meat is tender and flavorful, cheese isn't overpowering. Will certainly come here on many more occasions!! Worth every penny!!

The Chicago style thin crust pizza is amazing. This was the first time my wife and I stopped by to try it out, and we were super pleased. There is plenty of seating, so we were immediately seated. Service was fast and friendly. Our food came hot quickly and hot.

BEST PIZZA IN NORTH ALABAMA no doubt about it! I’ve tried 100 different pizza places and this place is the best I’ve had in the state of Alabama! Some of the best pizza you’ll ever taste! Also the wings are very tasty! Great atmosphere and very good service always! My go to Pizza place! Try it and you won’t be disappointed! 5 stars for sure 😊

Great staff, great pizza. This place has a cozy, hometown feel and a menu full of options! We ordered a Hawaiian (with jalapeños). Don’t pass on Pizza Ed! 🍕

Absolutely the best pizza I’ve had in my whole life. Not even exaggerating, every person at our table of 7 (some 25 some 65) said this was the best pizza they’ve had their whole lives.
The Chicken Bacon Ranch was unanimously voted as the favorite of the three pizzas we got. I could not give it higher praise.

I grew up with Mater's pizza, I didn't think anything could come close to it, but boy howdy, these folks NAILED it! The deep dish is a mile high and the meatballs added sooo much to the flavor profile. Their marinara is to die for as well. (Well not actually die, but you get the picture). We LOVED it.

They make the best deep dish I've ever had, can't imagine there's a much better deep dish pizza in the south. Food has always been good and they have really refined their menu to play to their strengths. Excellent waitstaff too!

The pizza is so yummy! The ingredients seem very fresh and of high quality. The spinach and artichoke dip with warm fried pita chips is great too!

By far the best pizza, ever. The deep dish is fanominal, they are not skimpy on anything. If you want authentic pizza with great service go to Pizza Ed. My wife has never been a pizza lover till now. We have went for the past 4 weeks I a row. We love it.

1st time there, just moved here. Southwest side Chicagoan. I know my pizza from deep dish to stuffed to tavern . The Chicago tavern pizza is outstanding!! Can’t wait to go back and try a deep dish. Service was excellent, waitress was so polite. Great experience thanks

Ate at Pizza Ed in Hartselle today and tried their Chicago style deep dish pizza and it was delicious! Loaded with meats and we added bell pepper and mushroom (it was called the “Cubby”). We also had their fried ravioli as an appetizer and it was delicious too! Their marinara and pizza sauce is amazing! We will definitely be back! 😋

We had the New York style and thin & crispy. Both were very delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived 30 minutes prior to closing with a large group, and they still served with smiles and friendliness. Definitely will go back!

I had the Chicago style pizza and it was fantastic. My wife had the New York style and it was also fantastic. Pizzas weren't cheap, but we are each getting 4 meals total out of these pizzas. Great service too! You can't really ask for more.

Watched the Alabama VS Auburn NCAA football LIVE on TV and had the best pizzas in the town

The deep dish pizza made this Ol’ boys birthday so incredibly special. Thank you to all the staff for your excellent service and out of this world food! We felt like royalty from the time we walked through the door.

OMG 😃 I am a HUGE wing critic and I have to say I am EXTREMELY impressed! best lemon pepper wings I have had in a long time! the season fries were perfectly crispy and chicken was not dry at all! my waitress Serenity was excellent & friendly as well. all around 10⭐ from me! great food y'all ❤

Chicago thin was absolutely where it's at! Im pretty sure the sauce and crust are homemade. New York thin I only have one complaint the edge of the crust was super thick like inches the center perfectly executed. All and all though it was still the best new York pizza your getting around here. I've literally worked in a new York pizza restaurant the reason I feel compelled to critique. The quality of toppings will have us coming back bc what they serve at the chains now days is awful. Thanks for great pizza we will be back for that deep dish soon and I lived in the chi area so imma be a critic there too. Hoping I found my new spot best I've had in north al.

It was a 32 miles from my home, but over all the Sammy Sosa Pizza was great. The best PIZZA in the State of Alabama I've had so far... With Little Caesars coming in second place...

This place is so good! The brick oven pizza is awesome! We have been here several times and they have never disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised today to find out they are open on Sunday. Our first stop for lunch had a twenty five plus minute wait which is tough with three kids that are ready to eat. We looked them up to check and when it showed them online to be open, we called and they said we could get right in. It was great like always. Unique pizza and other options on the menu. Nice restaurant and clean restrooms. I would highly recommend try them out.
