Can't ever get ahold of anyone..they never answer the phone..I had a stroke a cywreks agi and had to miss my appointment and haven't been able to get through for the last 2 weeks and the voicemail greeting asks for you not to leave a message.. doesn't make sense...they need someone to answer the phones...

I do agree that his office could use updating, but I found Dr Rana’s very through. He agreed with the first diagnosis I got but ordered additional tests to ensure nothing was missed.

He is all business and wants concise unembellished answers. Once I understood that the exam went great.

He was running late, but I realized that he spends as much time as necessary with each patient.

If you want a personable practitioner he is probably not the doctor for you. However, if you want a through exam I highly recommend Dr Rana

I found the visit to be quite satisfactory. The wait was about 2&1/2 hours. The Dr was screening me 2 of those hours. The nurse was very patient & kind.
I would go to him again. Oh and as far as the bedside manner he was there to do a job and he did. He was very quiet.

First appointment and I've been waiting for 2.5 hours. Waiting area is horribly cramped and is standing room only. I've been in severe pain for years, and it doesn't look like I'll be getting answers anytime soon. This is insane. ** Friendliness of the doctor and the staff was exemplary. Wait time was brutal, but worth it!

The overall apearance of the office and patient rooms is undesireable, and unsanitary. It smells & looks dirty. The furniture, & decor is over 40 yrs old. A Medical Office and Practice OSHA Inspection NEEDS to be enforced. The sink has water calcium spots and rust, old curtains, chipped cabinet, walls in need of painting, scuff marks on the floor that looked as though it hasn't been cleaned in years. Signs of water leaks in ceiling. Rana conveys poor listening skills, not paying attention to what is being said, interrupts, making assumptions, not answering questions, poor bedside manners, and people skills. I lack confidence with his care due to not communicationg. Orders test but no folow up or return call. The office shows signs of poor managerial skills. Closes the office for days at a time and patient can't leave a message. AVOID THIS DOCTOR AND SEEK CARE FROM ANOTHER NEUROLOGIST!!!

Extremely dirty rooms, and very rude staff and doctor. I came for passing out randomly and he tried to tell me it was headaches and he was going to put me on headache medication but I refused. He was very persistent about the headache medication. He also had ordered labs that I had just had two weeks prior.

the most RUDEST/ DISRESPECTFUL ‼ dr and staff for numerous reasons that follow:
1. Their waiting room is very small, Therefore, making it very difficult to give everyone access to move around, especially those that are handicapped/disabled (Fall-Risk).

2. Dr Rana HAS BEEN THE ONLY DR I KNOW🤌‼ to give me medication for seizures but not give me a diagnosis for the medication he prescribed.

3.The Drs OWN STAFF has recommended me to see another neurologist (very rude) because I demanded to know why I was taking the medication he prescribed with no diagnosis/Explanation of why I was on the medication he prescribed ‼

-would give 0 stars but I wasn’t sure if it would let me do it, but parents, our Babies and especially our elders/disabled please for your sake please find someone that you can get quality care from VERY RESPECTFUL NURSES AND DRS that know what they are doing and making you have the most comfortable/respectful experience for you 💯👏🤌🚩

Very rude! Even when he's dealing with mentally handicapped people. Very slow. Expect to be here for a good 3-4 hours. His bed side manners are horrible. But as I've heard he's the only doctor for this field in ptown. And that's why he's still has patience. Sad but he fr is a bad rude doctor. 👏👏

If you have to get testing or see them for any reason, good luck. They have forgotten to order my tests, to dictate my results, to post any of them to the patient portal for other offices or myself to see. They cancelled 2 of my 1st 3 appointments. The office staff are rude about me wanting answers and my health to be taken seriously. Just call and see for yourself.

I was in tears within 3 minutes of speaking to that man. He had zero bedside manners and some kind of God complex. Everytime I tried to answer a question he interrupted me with rude comments. Then he made a sarcastic statement about my age. (19) acting like I should have it all together. Just very aggressive over all. After I started crying he asked if I still wanted to continue with him. (absolutely not) I never received an apology from him. When I told my mother about it she gave him a call and he denied everything while coming up with sorry excuses. Still no apology and he was rude with her as well. Meanwhile before my visit had started I noticed that everytime he walked away from speaking to the receptionist she'd roll her eyes. He's so incredibly rude. The office also came off as sketchy to me. Tape was holding they're sink together and it was pretty dirty. It took me 30 minutes to fully calm down enough to drive home. Don't go to him if you know what's good for you.

Terrible experience. At my first appointment I was told I needed to take meds for my issue but had to have a blood/pregnancy test first. I did that. When I called to have him write my prescription I was told he was out of the office and he would be for weeks. So when he got back I asked for the meds and he said I had to have another test since it had been a month. So therefore, more money having a test that I don't need just because he was out of the office. On my second visit (which I should have never went to) I was told I needed an MRI and to secedule a follow up appointment for six weeks. Well it's time for my six week appointment but still haven't gotten an MRI scheduled by his office. I've called and called. I even called my own insurance and there is no pre-approval needed. They are severely lacking in office staff. I really think they need to be out of business if they can't take care of their patients. Can't even order a test within a six week period. Sad so so sad. Never will I ever go there again. And I will tell everyone I know not to go there. If you have another option TAKE IT

I've had a MRI , nerve conduction test on my legs and arms and now I'm being sent for a EEG. When I asked him the other day what was wrong with me he said he didn't have time to talk to me he had another patient waiting..he said you go...I didn't even get a chance to put my pants back on I left in my shorts. Seriously you can't take 2 seconds to tell me what's wrong? Instead he's making me wait till my next appointment. Keep in mind he nor his office called to tell me about the EEG I found out from hospital registration they didn't even bother calling me. Also I received a phone call from another neroulogy department in Charleston for an appointment that was set-up I had no clue about. I found out two days before and couldn't go. He is always friendly with my boyfriend and talks to him but looks at me like I'm stupid and I don't understand simple words. If you don't have to see him don't go somewhere else.

Worst medical experience in my life. I left in tears with no answers and my husband threatening his life. Prior to reading my MRI, he stated that I was too young to have memory loss and that he would give me pain meds and something for depression. When I objected and stated that prior to appointment I was not depressed or anxious and that I would prefer not to take medicine until I knew there wasn't an underlying issue, he became angry. My husband, who had excused himself to the waiting room heard me sobbing and came in the back. He said we were leaving and Dr Rana proceeded to tell me how smart he was, and that I could go elsewhere. The entire waiting room was in distress. One woman said for us to "file or do something to take his damn license away". His own receptionist had what appeared to be "beaten wife syndrome". She even said he was awful and that "he isn't worth it". Whatever you do, do your research and run the other direction. This man will have to answer to someone, someday.

Not a good person
Referred to him, waited 3 hrs to talk to him, then spent 15 minutes answering his questions while he interupted every answer, only to tell me he wouldnt help me. Even his receptionists say they dont like him n that ppl regularly walk out on him. Go anywhere else but here, when i said " so coming here was a waste of my time?" he said "yes" n walked out on me

This is the worst doctors office I have ever been too. Only one receptionist and she does a piss poor job at that. Not very presentable place not clean and like a doctors office should look, extremely trashy. Also has a strange mildew odor throughout the building. The doctor has absolutely no class at all, showing up 40 minutes late to work. We did not get in to our appointment until an hour late. If you have a choice to suffer or come here just suffer it’ll be less painful. Also he is very rude. DO NOT COME HERE!

You can never get anyone on the phone, no one answers phone calls. Called for 4 days on and off at different times with negative results. Had 3 appointments with the doctor, all three appointments were canceled on the day as I was traveling to them. I asked if this was normal for the doctor to cancel appointments, I was told Yes, he does it all the time...

Would not see me for my debilitating migraines just because I had fell 1 year before I seen him. I even told him I wasn’t planning on suing the place I fell at because I couldn’t but still would not see me or recommend anyone who could. What a joke! plus the waiting room smelled like someone had been smoking in there for 40 years without cleaning it. Don’t recommend this doctor especially if you had a accident because they’ll make you wait 2-3hrs before they tell you they can’t see you.

Went to his office for a sleep disorder I have already been diagnosed with. Waste of time and money. Should have told my primary care he didn't want to treat a sleep disorder patient. All I paid for was a bunch of questions..and referral to a different doctor.
