Monte Vista Park Cemetery

Beautiful cemetery in Bluefield, which is on the border next to Virginia. It's quite hilly so you'll get a good workout or your car will. This is a cemetery with some character - more than 60 acres that are heavily wooded. The interments date back to the early 1900's.

I wandered for a half hour with no specific residents that I needed to see. It's just interesting to view and appreciate those who came before us.

I was able to find the graves of my relatives who passed away in the 1920s. The cemetery was in very nice shape and even that small section of the graveyard was in good shape

Those disrespectful people covered up my father's headstone with dirt from a nearby plot. They could have at least been more considerate and more respectful.
