Dr. Ashraf Mena MD

I was referred to him by my primary physician because of irregular thyroid results. He wasted no time in getting to the bottom of it. He had tests done and diagnosed me with Graves Disease and immediately took steps to correct it. He encouraged me to call with Anything questions or if I needed help with the side affects. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The get you in and out. There's no waiting all day. I would recommend him.

For years I had been treated for my thyroid condition and wasn't feeling any better. I requested a referral to an endocrinologist and I was referred to Dr. Mena. He immediately began treating my condition with a different medication and in no time started to feel human again. He always answers my questions very informatively and always keeps thorough check on my bloodwork. His staff is always kind, friendly, and helpful. I can never put into words how thankful I am for this Doctor for helping me to get back to feeling human again. He is a great Doctor in my opinion.

Amazing staff!! Great doctor!! At this office I have experienced the best care in my entire life. For the first time I felt like the staff and doctors listened to me and what o was saying. They seemed to actually care. I am so thankful that I finally found this doctor and he has gotten me on the path to great health!!

Doc Mena is an amazing doctor point blank. He knows his stuff. I have seen him quite a few years now and can honestly say he saved not only my life but my husband and several friends and family members that have seen him as well. I would refer Doc Mena 110%. As far as being a doc for money as one suggests, that couldn't be further from the truth. He is actually the cheapest specialist that I see lol.

They are so nice, the Dr gives great tips to help you with diabetes. He doesn't fuss or put you down if u slip up with readings. I'm so glad I came to see Dr Mena.

everyone thought i was crazy!! i had been seeing dictors for several years trying to find what was wrong with me. with one visit he did!! he listens and truley is a great doctor!! last one i had just wanted to throw medicine at me he wanted to find what was wrong with me! thank you!! this doctor just saved my life

Dr mena is very professional and very good. My suagr were running 500 plus many other doctors couldn't get my sugars down but within a week he had my sugars dropping. Wonderful doctor!

Dr. Mena is the most caring and compassionate doctor I have found. I have gone to him for many years.

Only thing I dislike is the drive from Beckley to Princeton. You are in and out and you get answers so I’m very happy with my experience here.

He gave my daughter more insight in one visit than her other doctor did in 5 years. I have recommended Dr. Mena to my friends.

Great Doctor!

I have been telling him that I cannot take Ozympic I have landed in the emergency room many times dehydrated because it upsets my stomach from both ends.

They lost me as a patient! I’ll never go back and the reason is because I had paid over on my last visit so I had a credit of a little over $7.00. Well my schedule at work changed and I called to cancel my upcoming appt, I didn’t reschedule because I wasn’t sure the days I would have off work so once I figured that out I was going to call for an appt. I wasn’t able to get my days off to coincide with the open times. Anyways I had to go back to my primary care dr and called the billing dept at Dr. Mena’s toId her I wasn’t able to go back at this time until my work schedule changed again and asked for my refund of the $7.00. She called a few days later telling me they are keeping the $7.00 because I was a no show and no call, I honestly couldn’t believe what I was hearing. They were making this up all over a little more than $7.00. Basically telling me that $7 meant more to them than me as a patient. I have never missed an appt without calling. I did call to cancel my appt but I never rescheduled at that time because I didn’t know my days off at that time. Anyways I was potentially going to go back but not after this, never again. I will say though that the nurse there that checks your vitals is a very nice, pleasant lady.
Dr. Mena I thought was odd seeming that he never touched my neck to feel my thyroid gland when all other Dr.’s have because of of my goiter, and he keeps an arms length away from you and the door opened at all times, so basically everyone can hear you talk to him about your problems.
