Dr Remines is absolutely amazing! I have recommended him to several friends and family members. Please contact them if you’re looking for a knowledgeable and caring physician.

I love that he addresses all of my concerns and takes the time to listen to everything I have to tell him. If he can’t take care of a problem that I have then he will definitely make sure he sends me to the appropriate place to get the best help. He’s an awesome doctor! I really can’t say enough good things about him!

Very knowledgeable and thorough. Referrals made to appropriate specialist when needed without delay. Takes time to address all concerns. Very little wait time if any for scheduled appointments. Would strongly recommend Dr. Remines as a primary caregiver.

I thought he had my best interest at hand. He set me up with 4 doctors.
One was a pain clinic doctor in Charleston. I really had little information on the procedure and this doctor gave me little information. I had 6 sessions set up, that they kept changing.
I went to the first one, got 2 injections into my SI joint. I rested for 3 days and went to visit a friend. I had set up for my friend to take me to the next injections two weeks from the first. A week after the first, I went into terrible spasms/contractions in my hip/iliac cage along the iliac cage crest. It was hard to sit on the toilet, it would set it off.. In fact just about anything sat it off. I spend the next day, 13 hours in an ER going through spasms. I have never had anything like this happen before. I felt I should talk with my primary physician, Dr. Remines before changing this again.
I was a month and a half at my friend in PA, unable to drive, on a cane, and I still, although less. have more problems than I began with.
When I visited Dr. Remines, he entered the room agree.. He said I had not followed what we had decided I should do. How could I have, I had been mostly in bed for a month and a half in PA.. I needed an advocate b/c I was really beat down by pain. He indicated it was in my head, and I needed psychiatric help. I agreed I needed to have a psychologist help me cope, but I had been trapped at my friend's house who was taking care of me... He really treated me badly. He said I was an uncooperative patients. Then he sent a registered letter to my home saying he would not be my physician anymore.. Even though I didn't want him as a physician anymore.. He gave me nothing for the pain I was going through. I figure he feels anyone in chronic pain is a drug addict b/c this is a common belief in this area. I hope this helps anyone seeking out a physician to consider someone who has such a terrible bedside manner and who feels it is my way or the high way. He did nothing but make me worse with his harsh judgement of me.
