Quality Inn & Suites Grinnell near University

Fantastic accommodations and staff, cannot beat this quality at this price. The room was cute, the bed was comfy, and there’s even a pool and hot tub. Highly recommend!

It was an excellent place to stay the staff was very very friendly very accommodating, and it was affordable it had a pool a hot tub clean breakfast it was clean excellent excellent place I would recommend this place to anybody traveling past Grinnell Iowa.

Great hotel! Meticulously clean. Very nice person at the front desk. I didn't swim, but the pool and sauna were up and running. Breakfasts at these hotels can be very dodgy, but this was decent. Very much appreciated my stay.

The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was smaller than some but had many options. Really something for everyone. The food was kept stocked and the area was kept very clean. The rooms were nice. The bed was really comfortable. Both chairs in the room were tired and are ready to be retired but those are the only two items that were negative at all.

Our stay was great! Night receptionist was very accommodating and kind. Pool was a blast & the hot tub was just what we needed after a long day of traveling! Breakfast was on point and the morning receptionist kept everything stocked. Would totally stay here again!

Rooms are very comfortable. The new cable TV (Directv) is a big improvement over the old system. The remote is much easier to use. I only wish the unusable channels were eliminated from the on-screen guide. Channel 200 is nice, as it displays 4 news channels and 2 weather channels all on the same screen. The blue outline shows which one you are currently hearing the audio from (use the arrow keys to select which one of the six to listen to). The continental breakfast is the best, although the candles that keep the food warm run out about 8 a.m., so get there early.

Arrived very late late at night early morning you could say. The staff member was very nice and helpful. She quickly got me a room and at a good price. The room was neat and clean. Good shower and free WiFi. It was good for a quick overnight to rest from the road. Of course breakfast as well!!! Which was very good with a good choice of opinions.

I stayed here to break up a long trip from Kansas to Wisconsin. It was an awesome place to stay! The hotel's just off the highway but in the midst of a bunch of farms - a nice, quiet place to relax. There are 2 gas stations just a short walk away, one of which has a Subway attached to it, which wasn't the least bit crowded. The room was nice, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Also, it's very close to Iowa Speedway. I'd recommend it to anyone coming to this part of Iowa!

I stayed here simply because the price was right and it had an 'okay' TripAdvisor rating so I decided to check it out for myself and see. I found the property clean. The room was clean and had all the comforts seen in today's hotels: free wifi, large TV, microwave, refrigerator, desk, in-room coffee, hair dryer. Breakfast choices were also typical to today's expectations. Essentially, I had no issue with the accommodations. It's not an upscale hotel, but that's not what it aims to be nor what I expected.it is mid scale hotel It was clean and comfortable, I would stay here again and I recommend it.

Nice place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was beautifully done and very clean. We were in a suite with a large jetted tub. It was set into a stone surround and looked fabulous. It was, however, very difficult to get in and out of. The breakfast is much better then most places I have stayed. I highly recommend this motel.

The staff here are super friendly. The room was clean. The place had everything we needed at a convenient price. I would definitely come back.

The hottub was perfect; not to hot like some. The pool only has ladders, so you'll have to lower the baby in.

The beds were comfy and had bonus DirecTv.

Breakfast was hot with everything including waffles, sausage links, eggs, and cold, real milk!

Located just 1 mile from 80 and 1 mile from town and a mini Wal-Mart.

I want to say this is a first class place to stay ! Clean, great breakfast with real orange juice yum! The staff is the best you will find friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. I injured myself they put together an ice bag for me. I had some extra requests and all were met with a smile 😃! I rate this an 11 out of ten.

I will definitely stay here again. This is a great hotel to break up a long drive along I 80. Hot tub was great and open until 10pm (11pm on the weekends). King size bed, large tv, jetted tub, clean room and friendly, welcoming staff. All for $75. I’ve paid double for much less along I 80.

We drive through this way twice a year round trip. Always clean and friendly. True queens (or king), we cant do a double just to small for the 2 of us. (My daughter travels with us some of the time.) Prices well and has a nice breakfast.

Very kind staff. Very giving! We had lunch in the meeting room and realized that one of our participants didn't have dressing for her salad. A staff member generously gave us some of hers. Top notch experience at the Quality Inn and Suites!
