We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Winnebago Visitor Center. The history of this iconic brand is well told in the small museum. Great restorations of some classic models and some fun logo merchandise in the gift center. The two ladies who were hosts were great representatives of classic Midwestern hospitality! Highly recommended stop!

Wow, I loved this place. They have documented and have on display older RV's and trailers that were very fun to see. The history of the Winnebago company is there to read about. The lady at the counter (Shari sp?) has a great welcoming personality.

The people in the visitor center are always super nice. There is a small museum inside which is free, it shows the history of Winnebago as well as their pop culture presence. Free cup of coffee is available in the mornings and if you have a Winnebago they have electric hookups for you to stay 2 nights free, if you are a WIT member you can stay up to 3 nights for free. They also have a nice selection of Winnebago apparel for sale inside.

Really enjoyed the displays at the Visitor Center. Took both tours - Class B and Class A & C. Very informative. Had the best tour guide! Thanks Paul for the treats!

If you own a Winnebago you will really enjoy this tour! The guide was knowledgeable and friendly and answered all our questions. We were able to see our own style of rv being assembled. The tour left on time with a full group of about 16. The visitor center was extremely helpful and welcoming. We loved it! Only problem was sometimes it was difficult to hear the guides comments, maybe a small mic would help. :>)

We had the best experience here getting our Aspect fixed! The ladies that did the work were so knowledgeable and friendly! Hopefully we won't have to come back, but if we do they have the Best customer service!

I just bought a 2016 Travato and heard that they do tours. I arrived a day early and was able to tour both facilities. Everyone at Winnebago was amazing. Sherry and Amy in the Visitor's Center were great and Bryce, Mark, and Rande were fantastic tour guides. I also ended up needing the Service Department while I was there and they were incredible too. I met a lot of other Winnebago owners and even they were all pleasant! I highly recommend the tour and going directly to the factory for any service needed.

It's a Winnebago museum. 3 displays--vintage motorhome, a small towable and a truck bed cab over. Very nostalgic. Posters, old magazine adds, history and time lines for the progression of Winnebago. Also a movie reel which highlights all the movies and TV shows a Winnebago appeared in. T-shirts, mugs & stickers for sale and other assorted Winnebago gifts.

I shopped for my wife to obtain some Winnebago gear. The supervisor at the visitor center Melissa was absolutely amazing to work with. She took the time to email me pictures of the items She had available that my wife might like and processed my order over the phone. My wife and I absolutely love Winnebago because of their amazing customer service and the quality of the product they provide. Hands-down would work with this company again!

We camped electric only for a couple nights free, got serviced and did the plant tour. Everyone was helpful and took care of our needs in a good time. Local places to eat were very good (Shooterz & Mitchell's) we highly recommend! There is a nice little diner for breakfast called Sally's too. It was worth the stop to see the plant and meet the people who created our rig!

Took the Class B tour at Lake Mills. Paul was a great guide and told us about all the ins and outs of how the Class Bs are made. We got to see production lines for the Revel and Travato. Good way to kill some time while your RV is in the service center.

Love this place. Workers are knowledgeable on the Winnebago products. They even have tours to show how the R.Vs are assembled. A waiting lounge available allowing behaved pets. If you have to wait all day: bring comfort items. However, sight seeing a must.

I remember drinking RC Cola, waiting to pick up a Winnebago, for delivery! My Dad, Tom LaVelle, was a top salesman for Alaska and the entire USA!! '70's & '80's. Been gone 30 years, today. When Escape to Witch Mountain came out, we were so excited & loved the Minnie Winnie (uncredited) & our toy that Dad brought home!

Worthy stop. Took a tour of the facility, interesting since we own a Winnebago Journey. Factory and their museum. They do have a parking lot you can camp at if you are waiting for repairs. We ended up waiting to have our motorhome serviced there.

Great place to work. It is awesome to know that I am part of something that is a part of someone's life. Wether they are renting for the weekend or buying for life. Every RV that heads out on the road I can say I was part of that. There is plant tours available for the general public. These tours allow you to see many parts of how the RVs are made. From start to finish Winnebago IND and all the employees work hard to make sure every RV that comes off the line is ready for what ever adventure you have planned.
