Sea Maui

This is our 4th Sunset Cocktail Cruise with Sea Maui. Skipper James was awesome! The boat had sails up for a good portion of the cruise, which is always enjoyable. Very smooth ride considering the seas on Friday. The appetizers were yummy. And of course the drinks were great too. Great music too!
The crew took great care of the passengers!

Great dinner buffet, live music and excellent staff. The catamaran we were on was nice and the captain and crew were very knowledgeable. I felt safe the entire cruise. The food was very good. The sunset beautiful and the marine life was active. I can see myself going on this several times a year.

Wonderful day out at sea with Sea Maui! The crew and boat were top notch. The snorkeling was incredible, soooo many turtles and endless fish. It is the end of peak whale season but our fearless female captain found us a bunch and even manifested a full whale breach right in front of our boat. The whole crew was superb, but Ava really helped take extra care of my 6yr old son who had a blast! When I asked him what His favorite part of his trip to Maui he’s said “the boat trip, of course”. Thanks again Sea Maui for an unforgettable day!

Book ahead as spots do sell out and spots limited. There is paid parking at Whalers village but they will validate. I do suggest checking out the shopping in the area before leaving. We found great outfits that we got several compliments on from a store there plus the store owner was very knowledgeable and gave us great tips. We drove from the cruise port and it was just under an hour. Easy drive with beautiful scenery. Sea Maui has a little Kiosk outside right on the beaches edge. They have reef safe sun block available. Do not bring aerosol sun block even if reef safe (saw others get scolded). The boat is shoe free and you will put in a dry box they take with us. To board/debark the boat you will get wet. Depending on the waves it could be a little (mine was up to my knees) but others like my husband got wet up to his waste (person in front of him hesitated when they told her to go). So expect sand and getting wet. Trip was relaxing and there were whales everywhere. I missed sapping pics of breeches either because I was not quick enough or just soaking up the experience. We picked this over the others because of the reviews and the OPEN BAR! It was truly open bar. Beer and liquor. Besides the Captain there were two guys on the crew to make drinks and assist getting on and off the boat. Unlike other “open bars” they will ensure you get another and continually check/refillto your hearts delight! Worth every penny since it was about 2.5 hrs, actually felt a bit long but very much appreciated. Would definitely do again with them. Crew was excellent!

Unforgettable Family Adventure with Sea Maui's West Maui Half Day Snorkel

Our family of five recently embarked on the West Maui Half Day Snorkel Adventure with Sea Maui, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. With three kids in tow, we spent nearly five hours on the pristine waters of Maui, visiting two incredible snorkel spots: Honolua Bay and Namalu Bay.

From the moment we stepped on board, we were greeted with warm aloha spirit. Tommy and Nava, our guides for the day, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ensuring our family was comfortable and well taken care of. They were attentive to our every need, from adjusting our snorkel gear to making sure we had drinks in hand at all times from the open bar, which offered a great variety of beverages.

The snorkeling itself was phenomenal. At Honolua Bay and Namalu Bay, we were treated to an underwater paradise. We saw an astonishing array of colorful fish and were thrilled to swim alongside numerous sea turtles. The kids were particularly enchanted by the vibrant marine life and the clear, warm waters.

The food on board was another highlight. For breakfast, we enjoyed a delicious spread of eggs, sausage, and rice, setting us up perfectly for our morning adventure. Lunch was equally satisfying, with tasty chicken, pasta salad, caesar salad, and fresh rolls. Every bite was delicious and the perfect fuel for our active day.

A special shout-out goes to Emily, the on-board photographer, who did a fantastic job capturing our memories. We opted for the photo package, which was roughly $150 for all the pictures, and it was worth every penny. Emily was proactive and friendly, making sure to capture plenty of great shots of our family throughout the trip. If you let her know at the beginning that you want photos, you'll get an impressive collection to remember your adventure.

Overall, the service was top-notch, the snorkeling spots were breathtaking, and the food was superb. We couldn't have asked for a better day on the water. We highly recommend the West Maui Half Day Snorkel Adventure with Sea Maui, and we can't wait to do it again on our next visit to Maui. It was an experience our family will cherish forever.

Fabulous experience!!! The crew took great care of us. Yummy food, too. The captain sailed us through a pod of dolphins. On the way back, he sought out humpback whales. He found a mama and calf. So cool to see them breach. We'd ido t again!

This Catamaran is the best one the island. They provide excellent service as we were never left without a drink in hand. Linda was our captain and hilarious. The crew was talkative and interactive with the guests. They even memorized a lot of the passengers names which was impressive. The food was delicious- we had salmon, chicken, and short ribs. There was enough for everyone to get seconds even if they wanted to. This was the best experience I have ever received being on a Catamaran ride. We just wanted to say thank you very much to Phil and the rest of the crew for such a wonderful honeymoon experience!

Anything less than a five star review is laughable. These folks run a top notch tour start to finish. The boat was in excellent shape with all the amenities needed and then some! Food was stellar! Drinks were very quality with high end alcohols used.

Been on many tours throughout and this one ranks on the top!

The crew was unbelievably great with kiddos and extremely helpful through the entire trip. We enjoyed it so much we booked again and are going in two days!

I had the best experience on the snorkeling catamaran tour! The highlight was seeing turtles, and we even had a whale swim right beside our catamaran, which was absolutely thrilling. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, enhancing the whole experience. The food and drinks provided were delightful as well. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure on the water.

My family and I did a snorkel cruise with Sea Maui and it was fantastic. The food was awesome and the crew was amazing. They took us to a reef where we saw turtles, octopi, and all kinds of fish. For $150, it is well worth it!

Update: This is our third time sailing and snorkeling with Sea Maui and we had amazing time once again. The crew was awesome, the drinks were flowing and the food was good. Snorkeling was fun as always.

This was our second snorkeling trip with Sea Maui and it didn't disappoint. The crew is great, the locations are perfect and the drinks are good. We will never sail with anyone else when we visit Maui.

Outstanding crew. Boat was clean, drinks were prompt and tasty. Snorkel equipment was in really great shape considering its rental equipment. Photographer Chloe was amazing too. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! 5 stars!

Highly recommend the 2 hour whale watching cruise ! The pick up was steps away from our hotel at the Westin. The boat was super comfortable with plenty of beverage options. We saw multiple whales and flying fish. The crew was fantastic. A must do.

We had the best experience with Sea Maui for the sunset cruise! The team at Sea Maui was so kind and helpful in booking this experience, and answered all of my questions ahead of time. The cruise itself was a blast; the dinner was delicious, we drank a lot of drinks, the boat ride was comfortable, and we even saw a whale. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

There are many different whale watching tour companies around this area. Choose this one! It was a great and successful experience! The crew onboard was friendly, funny, and educational. We saw about 6 whales and got lucky with seeing a pod of dolphins on our way back! Very glad we chose Sea Maui.

Absolutely amazing experience. We did the dinner cruise, food was delicious, they hooked us up with endless drinks, staff were awesome and we were able to see lots of whales! I'd definitely recommend and go again!

Awesome first snorkeling experience! I’ve always wanted to swim with sea turtles and I got my wish! There was at least a dozen turtles around us! The boat was comfortable! The crew was amazing! The food and drinks were great.

Sea Maui was absolutely fantastic! The team members were so friendly and made both of my tours unforgettable. I did a sunset cruise and a daytime snorkeling tour, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The crew was professional and fun, and they really knew how to make the experience special. The tours were incredible, with amazing views and great snorkeling spots. I'm already planning my next trip back to Maui, and Sea Maui is definitely at the top of my list. Highly recommend them!

We absolutely loved our whale watching tour with Sea Maui 🌴 . The crew was fun and knowledgeable (Thank you Nick, Cole and Squid) and the open bar was fantastic🍹. We saw several humpback 🐋 whales and enjoyed our 2 hour + tour on the ocean 🌊. Will 💯 percent book again when we return.

We went on the whale watching tour at 8 am and loved it. Saw A LOT of whales. The crew was very friendly and helpful. Drinks were included. I think there was a small bathroom on the catamaran but didn’t use it. Make sure to wear shorts, anything longer than shorts might get wet when you are boarding.
