I have to say I hadn’t been here in awhile and had forgotten how great it was. Salgado’s is the place to go for authentic Mexican food! A special thank you to Eric for recommending the carne guisada burrito. 🌯 It was fantastic! The meat was flavorful and tender.

This place looks like a run down shack. Their parking lot is poorly designed and way too tight. Don't let any of this fool you. The food here is amazing, the people that staff it are lovely, and prices are as close to reasonable as you get today. Give them your business. Breakfast burritos are absolutely killer

Stopped by for a breakfast burrito. It was GOOD as always and with the green hot sauce.

LOVE these tacos! I come here every week, and they’re always incredible. I usually get the breakfast tacos, but they’re carnitas and Al Pastor are also to die for.

My go to breakfast taco/burrito spot! Obviously as everyone who's been here knows, they are THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! Giant burritos that you can't go wrong with. Always friendly sweet older lady taking the orders at the window. Keep up the excellent hard work! It doesn't go unnoticed! Such a must have staple in Bell county. Thank you, Salgado's! You've got a lifetime customer here! My wife agrees!

We love this place! There is something about the tacos and burritos here that make them taste unlike most of the breakfast tacos I've had in my life. I don't know if it's a sauce or the cheese (probably it is the crispiness of the bacon!). Whatever it is, it's a treat to eat there when we can make it. The same people have been running it for years, so it's definitely a tradition. You can order your tacos and burritos how you like them, but I highly recommend the suggested numbers. They may not seem like something you are accustomed to if you typically order an egg and cheese taco, but they all work so well. Make sure you check their times and dates they are open because they are not the same as your mainstream restaurants. I think I'm going to get in the car and head there right now :)

I always see this place has a line in the mornings in their drive thru so I decided to try it out and man it’s delicious! I got the #1 breakfast burrito and added jalapeño’s. I will definitely go back and make my way through the menu.

Best breakfast burritos around! They are MAN sized! Truly massive. We order for the office occasionally and do not need lunch later after eating one of these. Friendly staff and great food for breakfast! Lunch and dinner are priced a little high compared to others in area, but food is good.

Best burritos in Belton, I’ve been eating Salgados since high school (2004-2008) and the quality has always been consistent. My only complaint is they seam to be content being drive thru only and haven’t reopened their dining room as of yet… I miss my front corner booth and hope they consider reopening the dining room soon. Parking lot is too small to support a drive thru only restaurant and even though they are fast at getting orders out there is frequently a line out onto the road.

There is not another place in Temple nor Belton that I would rather get my burritos at. Their chorizo and avocado salsa is delicious. My only hang-up is that whoever wraps the burritos needs practice. They don't do a terrible job, but it feels like a lack of effort.

Breakfast tacos/burritos are absolutely the best!! Bacon is nice and crispy, the green sauce is spicy, and your food is pipin' hot. Great flavors and people there are friendly. Worth checking out!

This place has some SOLID breakfast burritos and they’re huge ! You definitely get your moneys worth here. I also liked how they seem to use homemade flour tortillas for their burritos and the ingredients tasted very authentic. Overall, good food for an even better price. I definitely recommend this place!

I ordered 7 dozen tamales to go. They were the hit of the party. The didn’t have so much mess you couldn’t taste the pork, but enough to give them great flavor after absorbing all the spices. They were moist and delicious.

If you are from south Texas and miss home made Mexican food, this is the place to go!!! Best tacos I have had in a long time. This is a hidden gem!! Their tacos are a perfect potion of food, and their burritos are huge, it’s like a meal in a tortilla. Highly recommend this place.
