I believe I spoke with the owner but I called first thing in the morning and she worked me in. When I arrived I was greeted and didn’t mind waiting for someone to become free. She gave me updates on how much longer I would wait (which wasn’t long at all). Everyone was VERY professional, kind and motivated, which made me feel comfortable while in their establishment. Everyone wore a mask and hand sanitizer was available, if needed. Overall, my experience was excellent and my tribal braids turned out great. Thank you for you service, I will be returning!

This is meant in no way to stereotype all African braiding salons, it’s only in reference to the ones I have patronized. They were very unprofessional in regarding to customer service. Your appointment would never start on time. But that’s all in the past now! I came across Diva Hair Braiding - Durham scrolling through Instagram. The work on the page looked very neat and nicely done. Still skeptical because salons have taken other stylists work and post it as their own. So, I called the salon and spoke with Mamy, the owner. She was very polite and answered all my questions without hesitation. I scheduled an appointment for 9/4/20 for micros. When I arrived I was greeted and made to feel comfortable. My appointment started on time. She was personable, we talked in my language (she is fluent in several languages by the way) and we laughed. She worked consistently through my appointment. Oh! I enjoyed my visit there. From the moment I called, the owner said to come on in and they started in my hair as soon as I got there. I got Senegalese twist and I love them! It also only took about 5-6 hours. I am so happy, she has a loyal customer in me.

I truly love them. They are so sweet, fast, and very professional. I made a last minute appointment and they fit me in. My braids are medium, waist length and my hair is thick, it only took them 7 hours. I will be back.

Divas did an amazing job on my crochet braids. I have short hair and was expecting they may have to leave the back out and have to get a short undercut. To my surprise she was able to braid all of it. The style is gorgeous, and I will definitely be going back.

Best professional hair braiding in Durham ! She’s the sweetest lady and moves really fast ! I definitely recommend her ! She did a great job on my Box braids not too tight but just right ! Book her for the best quality hairstyle ! She also washes your hair before braiding and has hair ready to use ! I literally love her and sure you will too !

I took my daughter there to get braids ..it only took 2 hours and very friendly got next day appt ..I highly recommend them..

The lady(the owner)that did my hair braided very fast and my hair looks great..In amd out in about in a timely manner..Shop was very clean and the price was great for the size braids that i got
