Flying J Travel Center

The absolutely only reason that I come here is because of the self-serve biscuits and gravy and typically to stock up on the Staples but I need to get me through my journey. Lately I have steered clear of the flying j that doesn't have self-help biscuits and gravy because of the proportionality so I have resorted to going to Love's instead!

To many truck drivers their dog is the most important thing they have with them, even more than the shirt on their back. Trucker dogs keep up moral and combat the loneliness of this lifestyle. I say this because the staff at the North Platte, NE Flying J were very friendly and accommodating to my four legged copilot. Even the Denny's gave me a complementary pup cup for her. This attention to customer service for the both of us made our day wonderful.

I want to say a special thank you to April for being so very helpful and kind to us. She was so nice, as well as the rest of the staff.
The shower guy was super nice too, making sure we had everything we needed even thou he looked like he was have a hard day, he did it with a smile.
You guys really made my day, much appreciation.

The best fuel station I have ever been in. The food? amazing. The place? Clean. Ranae was super nice and even walked with me from the counter to find the right phone charger that I needed. If she didn’t help me I don’t know where I would be. Definitely not writing this review from my phone LOL.

Great truck stop! Showers for truckers available. Long windshield washer squeegees for RVs and trucks. Nice selection of snacks and drinks, clean bathrooms with tall private bathroom stalls. Made a fresh cup of coffee that allowed me to grind coffee beans right there for my cup. Denny's restaurant is attached as well if you want a sit-down place to eat.

Liked being able to get right in to Dennys at the busy time of Sunday lunch hour. Nice work at being seated quickly, but at the busy time of day, more servers are required, as I had to wait over 45 minutes before a server was able to get to our table. The problem is that there was not enough servers to be able to take orders during the 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. and be able to keep up with all the patrons.

Polite employees, clean bathrooms and the Denny's attached to the truck stop is very nice!

Almost died here once. Highly recommend, if you're going to lose consciousness this is a great place to do it. The shower floor I collapsed on was very clean, and the staff was very professional as the paramedics carted my naked butt through the store to the ambulance.

DEF pumps are kinda slow but the fuel prices are generally the lowest in the state, so I can't complain.

This place is awesome!!! It has huge clean showers and bathrooms, a McDonald's, and a subway,which both are very good. Nice friendly staff. Plenty of parking, didn't see washers and dryers though.

Has a Dennys. Clean bathroom, hot food, professional staff and even several spots when I arrived on a Satrday at 630pm. Well done

This location carries full synthetic motor oil if you need it. They also have a nice selection of sandwiches that have cheese and meat but real food. There's a Denny's attached to it I did not visit that but they also have a little deli section inside the convenience store section of the stop that has potato wedges and some various other things in case that's what you're interested in. There are some decent grass areas if you are traveling with a dog that are also nice as well.

This is probably the most weird review ever. Had a great experience with Helen today after we had a scare of potentially leaving a very personally important item at the gas station. We called from a couple hours away in a panic and she went and searched each pump to make sure the item wasn't there. We did find the item in our car, but she spent a lot of time making sure. We are extremely grateful that you care, flying j! :)

We were touring on the motorcycle, and ran into a thunder storm, with dime size hail,9 miles ahead. Stopped for gas, and had some coffee. They were more than accommodating, and had us hang out till the storm passed. 45 minutes later we were gassed up, and ready to go!

The Manager, Richard and His Staff are OUTSTANDING!! I Love coming to this Flying J.
The only downside, is that there is NOT NEARLY enough Parking for Big Trucks. And the Denny's Restaurant is Horrible. Food portions way too small, Prices WAY too high, (for the portion size), and the Service is a Joke. But the Mgmt & Staff of the Flying J.......I dont Believe there is any better in the Whole USA. OUTSTANDING.

Gas pumps set up very nicely for rv or trailers. Thank you flying j more gas stations need to be set up this way.
