I was looking for a lawyer to help me with a speeding ticket that I received in a cmv. I contacted many lawyers and Mr. Smith was the first to answer and I immediately began to work with him. Him and his assistant Trisha were very professional and helpful. My court date was postponed to late August, but Mr. Smith and Trisha were able to turn that around. I instead ended up paying a fine and got the violation modified to a non-moving violation without going to court. This is a HUGE win for me because I'm a truck driver and most companies will not hire drivers with serious moving violations. Now I can get back to work thanks to Mr. Smith and Trisha! If I ever need a lawyer in the future I will definitely hire him again!

We needed a lawyer to represent my boyfriend in a DUI case and we had no idea who to hire, we called several lawyers who charged very expensive in addition to the fact that the attention was not personalized but through their secretaries. Luckily, we found Joshua Smith on a desperate google search and based on the good reviews he has, we decided to contact him. From the first time we spoke with him, he was very understanding, he offered us a free consultation and since we live far from Rockford, he suggested that we do the consultation via Zoom. His fees were affordable, and he also offered us payment plans. He explained to us in detail how the laws work and what our options were. We never had a problem getting in touch with him, he was very responsive and gave us updates often. He worked hard to give us a good resolution to our case, and he did! We highly recommend him.

Josh Smith was actually my second attorney. I called him to ask about my options due to my first attorney alluding to me not having many. He took the time to tell me my options luckily the same day as my other attorney telling me I don’t have many choices. When you meet with him he gets straight to the points and facts about each situation. You don’t have to pay before you see him which is a great and based on his availability he will give you a 5-10 minute window where you will tell him your situation and show documents, he will explain what he can do and break down a payment plan which is very flexible and affordable, if you say you can’t afford it you may need to get to work like seriously. He should be charging more for his quality service really but he keeps it low to help everyone he can. Give him a call you won’t be disappointed, again 5 stars
