Another great job.......need I say more. Wanted to keep it simple yet make it custom. Chris did not disappoint on my 1911. This is my go to for gun work. Tightened up a barrel on an old lever 22. Said it may take 2 weeks because of work load was done in 3 days. Price was VERY reasonable. Pleasant to talk to and great service.

Chris is an amazing gun smith! I had a small stripped screw on the optics plate that I tried to remove and ended up making the issue way worse. After trying countless things I brought it over to him and he removed it and it’s like new again! Don’t think twice about bringing your firearms to him for the best service in CenTex! This is the only place I’ll be using for now on! Thanks again!

Chris did an excellent job installing my compensator on my 1911 and will be back to have him do a trigger job on my pistol in the future!

I've gone to Chris several times over the last couple of years for various things on 1911s ranging from refinish to repairs, customization to solving tricky issues, and I can honestly say that he is the premier 1911 'smith in the Central Texas area. Prices are very fair, work ethic is excellent, and results fantastic. On the one hand I'm sorry the Army lost him since he was clearly the type of soldier you can always count on, but on the other hand I'm glad he followed his passion and took the risk to start his own business locally. Chris restored a Winchester Model 06 pump .22 for me. It belongs to my father-in-law, the restoration was a birthday present. The rifle was his grandfather's, itwas bought new.

The rifle looks new! Chris reamed the barrel and installed a liner. Replaced the wood. Polished the steel and reblued it.

I am already planning another project for him to work on.

Had them remove a deeply set and tiny stripped screw from my pistol. They were able to remove it without damaging any of the surrounding metal, I was really impressed with their work and they charged me a very fair price. If I have any more work I am bringing it to them.

Chris is a friendly and knowledgeable Gunsmith, more interested in your safety and satisfaction than your money. He found a part for my 1970's Remington M540XR that I had been searching for for several years. He was honest about the accuracy of an old Mosin-Nagant ( don't expect subMOA) at 100m, due to corrosive powder from the ammo.
Buying my SA M1A was a snap, called him up, told him what I wanted and less than a week later, it arrived. I would recommend his services to any friend or relative with a firearm issue.

Chris refinished a 1911 for me, turned out perfect. He did an awesome job and the cost wasnt bad compared to his competitors. I will give him all my business in the future.

Chris has done work on two items for me, 1st one was just handguard on my 10.5" fde themed ar pistol......asked for a particular color combo and he delivered.

The next was near and dear to my heart. Palmetto State Armory released a breast cancer awareness lower receiver and I jumped all over it for a very personal reason to me and my family which I shared with Chris.

I picked it up today 23 Sep 19, and was totally blown away with the finished product. I couldn't be happier and again, it means the world to me and my family that this was able to come to fruition.

Lastly, he's also in the process of doing some work on a 1911 .45 ACP for me and I cant wait to see it.

Dropped gun off for work. They kept it almost a month. No phone calls. When I went to check progress the work hadn’t even started. He told me to take the gun back and call him in a month to see if he could get to it. Very Very poor customer service. Avoid this guy.
