Barb is an amazing subject matter expert and extremely helpful with new Driver's license and new plates! She also seamlessly trained another agent while helping and zero interruptions! Amazing! No lines. Friendly staff. Clean place. Everyone had all the answers, empathy, and smiles throughout the experience. This Sterling location is full of awesomeness. 4pm on a Tuesday and I got right in, she was very interactive, had me laughing and smiling. Even getting my daughter involved in the conversations.
It was so fast, unfortunately, I completely missed her name! I’ll have to go back in at another time to give her the recognition she deserves!

Barb was the sweetest person, and she helped me fairly quick as I was in a time crunch but she was also communicative. She was helpful, insightful and so nice!!!

I got there early morning and arrived to a few people in front of me. The facility is well staffed and I didn’t have to wait at all and was helped by Barb. She helped me out with everything I needed and had a friendly chat while waiting for the prints. Saturdays get busiest because they are only open until noon. The easiest visit I have yet had at a dmv facility. Thank you Barb.

Yesterday I visited the Sterling DMV on what was one of their busiest days of the year - the end of the the State fiscal year, end of the month with a holiday weekend coming. Barb and Jeanie were very nice and helped me with several difficult questions. All of the staff was working diligently and trying to move people in and out as quickly as possible with a smile on their face. Thank you!

Barb was so helpful and got things done fast so I could go on with my day. Barb knew what she was doing and was very helpful to her coworkers when they had questions. She made it fun since I hate going in and getting this done. I was fourth in line. You could tell that the staff worked together great as a team willing to help each other when they had questions. It was great. Keep up your good work.

I can’t say enough great things about this place, specifically Barb. I took my 93 year old mother to renew her license today. Barb was so patient and professional. She treated her with respect the entire time. Barb and I bonded as well. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants quick service and to be treated right.

Barb and the Manager (I didn’t get her name) were the sweetest!! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Both my husband and I had a great experience at this location. (Two separate days) We got in and out with no wait.

Barb was really sweet and helped me get everything I needed done. I just turned 18 and needed both a state ID and a Drivers License, she was more than helpful with everything, and even gave me a couple of hints ;) It was a busy day, but Barb was patient and calm while helping us. Thanks Barb!

I had a great experience at the Sterling secretary of state office. I renewed my license without any problems. Thanks to the staff for a great experience. Make sure to have everything ready.

Visited Thursday and Friday to get my RealID, but brought the wrong paperwork on Thursday and dealt with Barb both times, who was extremely nice and a wonder to talk to. A really enjoyable time all together, not what you usually think of when you think of DMV, but Barb and the rest of team made it that way! :)

Never been to a DMV where the entire staff was amazing! It was a little busy and ALL of them were patient, very pleasant and super helpful. It made a short wait fly by. I have never been able to say that about another state run facility. Kudos to all of you at Sterling Sec O State office!!!

I was in a mess, and I went in to get my lic. Renewed and renew plates. Barb was amazing friendly and full of smiles. I sat and watched people be rude and nasty impatient and entitled and the entire time these women dealt with it all and tried to keep a smile on their faces, but Barb she went above and beyond.

First off let me say Barb is the BEST! Thank you for making things so easy for me! And loved our talks about Steel Plow in Davenport, IA. As she said “Can’t wait to try this place out, and get one of those famous shakes!”.

I would have NEVER expected the ‘dreaded’ trip to DMV would turn out to be the highlight of my day.... BUT it was!!! Barb was not only HYSTERICAL... she knew her job, was quick and Friendly!! I can’t wait to move so I can change my address and see her again!!
