Dr. Matthew Furman, MD

I've had the pleasure of having Dr. Furman as my primary care physician for a few years. He has remained a qualified physician for me and my husband. Always listening to my concerns and answers my questions. I hope to keep him and his staff, who also are professional and pleasant to speak with, as my care team.

The office staff are professional. They work with you on your schedules and try to accommodate your request. The wait periods are short (if you wait at all). The nurses are kind,compassionate and spend time explaining what they are going to be doing with you. The nursing staff makes you feel comfortable. Dr. Furman asks you question and listens to your response . I am very grateful to have him as my primary physician.

Dr. Furman has a wonderful bedside manner that makes you feel comfortable and at ease. He is very professional and knowledgeable in his treatment and refers you to the best doctors when necessary. My husband and I are so happy we found Dr. Furman and his caring staff.

Dr. Furman is the most caring Doctor I've ever met. He listens and looks for the best options for any of my medical issues.

The office was clean & the front desk seemed to be handled properly. Dr. Furman was going to add to my medications, but I needed to call his office back w/ some info. I called that day & everyday for about 5 days. No 1 would answer left messages but none were returned. 6 months later I called back to make an appt. I was told there was a walk n Dr n front of the old Kings Daughters Clinic that saw patients for 8-4pm. I was wanting him as my primary doctor. I guess he doesn't need new patients. I never heard from his office. He was very aloof. His office staff was standing offish also.. Still looking for a new primary physician.

Dr. Furman is thorough, compassionate and caring. I never feel rushed he always takes his time and listens to my concerns.

Best doctor I’ve run across in a very long time. I told him everything that was going on, and he actually heard me! Took care of all my complaints! Thank you so much 😊

I first met Dr Matthew Furman when he was a resident at Scott and White in Temple, he not only saved my Mothers life, he treated her like he would treat his own Mother, she refused to see anyone else. Since then he has saved my cousins life! His own cardiologist at S&W didn’t catch the problem! He is my Doctor now and forever!

Dr. Furman has never failed me in my health care! My healthy life is his priority.

Never a person that isn't sweet or helpful in office. Doctor Furman is second to none. And even goes out of his way to meet all my medical needs. Always ahead of thier game. Finding a good doctor oddly enough sometimes depends on the "patients" attitude, because this group already has customer service down. BEST OF THE BEST.

Dr. Furman is a thorough Dr. without being overbearing or extreme. He's willing to listen to the patient. He never seems to be in a hurry but doesn't keep a patient in the office forever.
One thing I really appreciate about his practice is that he's not in a hurry to throw medicine at a problem, but he's also not scared of the medicines at his disposal. He'll usually start with a standard fix and then branch out if needed. If a problem doesn't respond, he's willing to refer a patient to a specialist. I've been very happy with the care I've received over the years.
