We needed to exchange an item that was a gift and ordered online. Phillip helped us and was absolutely amazing! He took us around the store hunting for a replacement item, and when one could not be found, he found a way. He ordered a replacement item that we wanted and really went above and beyond. We will definitely be doing more shopping there.

The salon is amazing with awesome people working there. My hair has never looked so good. Amber is so good im telling everyone that she is who they need to do their hair.

Customer service is become almost a thing of the past these days, but I went JC Penny's today and Amanda M. was amazing went beyond great customer service !!!!! She needs a raise and they need more like her !!!!!

Jane in jewelry was so helpful and friendly. I have shopped with penny's for many years. I normally shop on line but it was nice to see a face. Thanks Jane, from another Jane.

They may not have a trendy reputation, but they do have plenty of trendy clothes! This is not the JC Penny my mom used to shop at.

Go see cynthia at jcpennys if you have dreads or locks shes a master💪🏾💪🏾!! she does it ALL colors, cuts, dreads, locks!! IF YOU WANT IT SHE CAN DO IT!!

Found most of what I wanted needed XXS dress pants for Granddaughter for work they are the only ones that had some to fit her.

I love this store. There are always sales associates who are willing to help you.

Jewelry sale was FANATICALLY MARKED down. Christmas in July yesterday. Had a blast.👋👋

We went to get some haircuts and Ms. Karli was such a wonderful stylist. Very professional and easy-going which made for the perfect, relaxing environment. The young lady at the front desk with the beautifully colored hair was very sweet and very helpful. Thank y'all for a good experience!

Store is very clean and employees are friendly. Very busy during the holiday (of course) but they had all registers open and the line went quickly. They have a order online/pick up in store option which makes it easier during busy times. Their were no noticeable signs up front to where the online order pickup was, but it was in the back of the store in the home goods department.

This review is mainly on the salon. I walked in today without an appointment and was helped right away. I’m always so nervous about trying a new place because I’ve had some very bad hair experiences. By the luck of the draw I got Amber W. as my stylist. She listened to me, really listened, and did exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve already gotten compliments. I will definitely be returning! Also, Katherine in ladies clothing assisted me with some purchases on the way out and she was very helpful and friendly as well.

JCPenney is a great store to go to They always have clothes that look really good on me and their prices are very reasonable. When I go in there I find it very hard not to buy something and I am a man. I like shopping for tools not clothes a JCPenney is the exception to the rule The people there are very friendly and they don't bother you which is worth going all by itself.

This JCPenney was great! The only downside was it was pretty warm in the store and the dressing rooms were closed due to Miss Rona. Both are problems I'm sure are not usually an issue in the store. The cashier Jonie was really courteous and bubbly. I highly recommend the Sherman J C Penney.

I took my granddaughter out for a day together. We went to the salon to get her hair and nails done. The girl who did her hair helped her pick a style and did a great job. From there she went for a pedicure. Being nine, she wanted lots of bling and Hailey gave it to her. My granddaughter can't stop looking at her nails. She said they've never been cuter! Hailey went beyond what was asked of her. Great job ladies! You've made a little girl very happy!

Salon is amazing. They did the best cut ever on my granddaughter. Already have an appointment set for next time

HUGE shout out of appreciation to the JC Penney store in Sherman, TX! I had a very unhappy experience on 7/18/2021 because of a large purchase I made and not being able to use my 5 gift cards because they were "inactive" (being quite old). I completed my purchase & paid for the merchandise. I went home & contacted the gift card dept and they helped to convert the balances of my "inactive" gift cards into a new e-gift card that was emailed to me. I was still unhappy about not being able to apply the gift cards to my recent purchase. The store H.R. manager (Kevin Harder) called me personally & provided a solution to my complaint. When I returned to the store, a very courteous young man (Drew, I believe) helped me resolve my situation and converted a very unhappy buying experience (gift card issue; NOT store issue) into an extremely happy situation. I thank everyone for doing all things possible to correct this situation and I have a renewed loyalty to JC Penney and their concern for customer satisfaction! THANK YOU ... THANK YOU!!

Great store. Bright. Clean, quality selections friendly staff. We enjoy shopping there.

Classic department store. Usually lots of sales. Not exactly a lot available for country men. But great for women, students, business men, church goers,gifts and such. Associates always seem friendly.

Got a great deal on good quality shoes! Great customer service and store was well stocked and cleanly.
