Forest City Inn Hotel

Stayed here three nights while my Winnebago RV was being serviced at the Factory, a convenient 1/2 mile walk away. Exceeded my expectations for a 2 star hotel (for amenities). Reasonably priced. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Adequate breakfast. I recommend staying here when you visit Forest City.

Stayed at the Forest City Inn while our RV was being repaired. The Winnebago Service Center is about 0.5 miles away, a short walk. The manager was extremely courteous, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good, coffee was excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a fridge and microwave. This was an excellent value and we would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately they were fully booked for the night that I needed them, but they own a recently built hotel down the road in Garner. I can't recommend them highly enough for their kindness and helpfulness. The Garner Inn also comes very highly recommended. The brand new hotel, wonderfully furnished, an excellently you run.

Stayed there back in October. Staff bent over backwards to make stay pleasant. Picked up RV from local dealer

Such a quaint place. Clean, friendly, amenities all ready. Thank you for preparing everything for such a comfortable time during our visit. We loved your little garden plot as we walked.

Clean, recently remodeled property. Family-owned business, very friendly. Great ammenities for a hotel in a community this size. This place is a real asset to Forest City. Would definately stay again.

My first night here was so restful I decided to stay a second night though I'm now hoping I even wakeup tomorrow morning as i discovered safety is not the best for a female traveling alone. While there are newer mattress however, linen and towels + very clean and an acceptable breakfast is included..I found this spot after a few too many absolutely terrible nights with zero sleep and some real scarry encounters at the "big name, affordable, corporate chain" hotel/motels in Clear lake/Mason city while moving out of state but NO deadbolt on the door or lock on the window in the room I was in..did not lock!!!
I value my safety over everything and though I slept well the first night after discovering the window did not lock I didn't sleep at all my second night.
Family owned and operated in a quiet little Iowa town with all the Iowan hospitality, charm and warmth not to mention plenty of historical attractions nearby and walkability.would have been 5 stars all around but ANY establishment willing to risk a guests well being can never get 5 from me.

Really nice people! We lost our cards twice in 4 days and never once were they upset. They even let me bring the cats! Comforted me to have them there! Thank you!

We stayed here two nights. New carpet throughout and walls appear to be freshly painted. Everything was very clean! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. We would definitely stay again!!

Great place to stay, new mattresses and standard pillows, not those small ones that most hotels are using. New office chairs for the desk/workspace in the rooms. Not much in town, limited options for eating and no delivery options.

I can't say enough positive things about our stay here! We came in with a large group for a Boy Scout camp and had 6 rooms. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was hot and fresh, and the rooms were spacious and well cleaned! Loved the 2 suites with the 3 queen size beds!!! Wish more hotels had this option for larger families!

This place is a gem! Rooms are clean, bright and reasonable. The staff is so welcoming and friendly it felt like home! Such nice people. No request was too big or small for them to accommodate us. Breakfast was fresh and always ready in the morning. Perfect location. The proximity to Winnebago was terrific! ( 1.1 miles) and also close to restaurants and grocery. I highly recommend this place!!

I just wanted to thank the entire staff for the great hospitality. You have all provided during my first trip to Forest City. I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the facility. The staff provides even the most ridiculous request without hesitation , for example: I requested to view a few rooms in person; and to have the manager personally gave me a tour with a positive and friendly attitude was amazing. I mean a great tour! I was able to get my choice of room, on the lower floor, near the middle of the building, thanks to management recommendations ( for best placement for Night shift workers) I was blow away!!! Travel nurses I'm pleading with you, Make sure to BOOK here if your on a contract!!! It's SAFE & SECURE

This is a wonderfully maintained inn and the staff very helpful and always available to help. Great breakfast bar in the morning too. We have stayed here twice in the past few years and the level of quality is consistent. Highly recommend this place

I am very picky about where we stay because I want everything very clean. We were so welcomed and our room, I could not find any dust. It was a beautiful stay and and if we stay in Forest City that is the same placel that we will stay at. Breakfast was amazing

This is a very very clean comfortable motel and a great price. The owners and staff are wonderful. They do have breakfast and will do your laundry for $10. We enjoy staying here when we come to Forest city and have always been very pleased.

I could not find fault with any part of this Motel .super clean .pleasent staff . Good bed . And great shower quite rooms. And again vary clean . Good parking lit lot.
