Loved it! Helped a friend adopt a cat 🐈! The place was clean. The animals were well cared for. I felt like it was a great big place to run the dogs if there were any that were waiting to be adopted at any time. It's just a great place to adopt!

The staff is amazing,caring, the groomer awesome he does a wonderful job with my dog bear that I adopted from the Mattson location you guys customer support and care is wonderful On a scale 1-10 you guys are a 10 ! I love how you guys follow up after the adoption. You guys do a wonderful job they are so caring I will always donate and support this location it is clean and staff member is always available I love beaning a part of the SSHs.

The staff and doctors have a passion and support for helping animals which is outstanding. They are compassionate. And affordable. I wish they would correct the hours of operation on the website. Otherwise you will make a unnecessary trip to find they are closed.

I just got Kai, a Shih Tzu. He is the sweetest animal I have ever owned. Everything was very clean and very professionally done. I love my dog I just wish they had a grooming appt open before Oct.

We have been talking for over a year that we’ve been wanting a corgi and our dream has come true. we rescued “bunker” and renamed her cannoli it was so simple and straightforward of a process staff was amazing educational and she’s loving her new home. I can’t believe anyone gave her up she’s the sweetest! I would recommend this business tenfold over beyond satisfied with our adoption 😌.

It was amazing the staff was so sweet to me and Brody and the doc explained things and even let me do a video of her for my husband who was not there with me !!! Thank you all for being so amazing!

A very nice facility with great employees and volunteers doing all they can to help animals have a safe place to live and receive enrichment until they find their forever homes. The adoption process is smooth and enjoyable and every animal I've ever adopted from them has been an amazing companion and friend.

Everyone was so awesome! From the time I called., Brought the feral cat in w her kittens & left. Such sweet people doing awesome work. Unfortunately we have ppl in the neighborhood feeding & not fixing cats which has led to quite an explosion of feral cats! Some w gaping wounds. Freezing in winter. Please don't feed strays unless you intend on having them spayed/nuetered & provide care for them!! They have a great clinic w low cost services!! The clinic is excellent as well! Providing great care & keeping me up to date. Please fix your pets!! There are so many homeless animals! The new facilities are beautiful as well. Don't shop! Adopt! They have awesome pets that need loving forever homes! Thank you for all you do!

Adopted my senior dog Newton here! He’s the love of my life! Adopted him when he was 12 y/o (11/2019) and he is still living a healthy and active life! Can’t wait to get my house, so I can foster as many dogs as needed! It breaks my heart that I can’t do so now.

Update: My Mr. Newton is still happy as he will ever be but he recently went blind.. I LOVE recommending & donating to SSHS!

Walked in.. the staff that greeted me was great. Found the dog I wanted to see right away. Got some walk time with Drae a pitbull terrier. Staff gave me the backstory on him.. He was found and was a level 3 doggie (no worries for me). Small donation to keep the facility up and running and staffed. Get an animal from them. They were great. DRAE. Is now Egypt. And he has well-adjusted to me

Dr. Lisa Quinn and the entire staff at South Suburban Human Veterinarian Service are wonderful!! My Yorkie Sasha is very sick with enlarged liver and other liver problems. Dr. Quinn and staff are working very hard to save my fur baby life. Sasha is improving the medication I believe is working. I would recommend South Suburban Human to everyone with a cat or dog. The staff and Dr. Quinn are very compassionate people. They treat Sasha and I like family! Sasha also had kidney disease and an enlarged heart, but thanks to Dr. Quinn and staff she does not have kidney disease or an enlarged heart any longer. They are the BEST!

Very nice place and very nice people. We got our fur baby Raven she's so sweet and adorable.

I adopted a cat from them last summer. The building is beautiful and well kept. They have plenty of staff waiting to help people as you come in. I was just there again this past Friday and they went above and beyond to allow me to meet a pet up for adoption. I saw staff cleaning the whole time I was there. ❤

By far the most helpful, compassionate, thorough and generous vet clinic I have ever been to in my life. I had to take my seriously ill kitty there all the way from Crown Point, IN, after every vet here turned me away due to low funds until payday. They saved him and they saved me from losing my beloved pet and subsequently my mind. Thank you so much Dr. Lisa and the wonderful team there. ✨💙✨ You kindness will never be forgotten.

They are so sweet here. Very informative and helpful. I'm still looking for my new pup to adopt. All the animals here are so sweet. I wish I could adopt them all!

We got to meet the cutest pups. Literally the best adoption facility within 20 miles. I tried TLC in homer Glenn and they wanted 500$ for an ADOPTION total rip off and everywhere you need to fill out an application before even meeting a dog. Naws won’t even let u see them.. its no wonder why they are always full.. the process is so complicated. SSH the employees are all very welcoming and so helpful! There is a girl with pink hair( sorry forgot her name) was SUPER helpful with us in the adoption room and answered all our questions and went beyond by explaining every step and giving us helpful ideas.. and just was an eye opening experience on how she’s so dedicated to what she does. We didn’t end going through with the adoption but we will be back for sure and hopefully find a good match for us!

Staff was friendly and answer my questions. Very organized and professional in proving me all the information needed to get procedure done. My cat got spayed and she's healing well. Everything went well. Great service!

I took my dog there for her spay. They were great. Our experience was wonderful. I highly recommend this place for any of your pet care.

This place is a blessing from God. Everyone of the workers are definitely going through the gates of heaven. We have been so fortunate to now have two fur babies from their facilities and we keep in touch with some of the workers and update with pictures and it's just such a beautiful place. Definitely worth donating and they gave us such a beautiful dog that matched so nicely with our dog at home who doesn't get along with that many dogs.

I love the people working here and thank them for their sacrifice to give us poor people a place to give our animals medical care. I don't have much and live on next to nothing, so my pup is my joy! Thank you for your wonderful, kind care! 💖💗💓💞❤
