THIS MENARD'S IS WELL STOCKED AND ENTERTAINING!! I was entertained and pleasantly overwhelmed at the vast array of selections - from household items, fixtures, paints and even groceries - I was Truly Impressed with the stock of WATKINS PRODUCTS AND EVEN MORE THE SELECTION OF SPRAY PAINT WAS A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! I came there as a last resort for a specific spray paint, I had gone prior to Home Depot, yet their supply while nice, but limited... Menard's was mind blowing - a Whole New World of the slightest variation of shades. which was a HUGE difference in getting the exact color... Mine is 'Laurel Green' the PERFECT MATCH - I'm so proud that I didn't settle, and came to Menard's Jehovah God Is Good!! :D

Nate provided excellent customer service in the yard helping us locate our plywood for our roof. He had a lot of demand from multiple customers and even other workers in the yard and was helping us all out while keeping a great attitude. Nicole at the service desk also gave great customer service and had a big smile on her face for all of the customers she was helping. Thank you both so much!

The cashier was phenomenal. Absolutely great, bubbly personality. Wish she could come work for me! Selections were good, and they cut the board to the size my aunt needed.

Today I decided to try a new store for my home needs. I usually go to Home Depot in Matteson but today I tried Menards and what a wonderful experience I had. Every employee that I saw or passed wished me a good day and all asked if they can help. To me it felt amazing to see so many employees happy at work and also helpful. I’m excited for my next visit and personally can’t remember having such a positive shopping experience so much I just had to leave this Great review they definitely deserve the props. My new shopping home !

update 2-20-23 in to pick up toilet seat. helpful staff, nice selection, good price, in & out in 10 minutes.
update 3-26-22 needed toilet flush valve setup, entry door lockset, curtains and shades and hardware. spring is here. big place, I could stumble around for hours trying to find what I need but the staff is always available and helpful, offering advice on flush valves and available to custom cut pull down shade. also got out cheap.

needed a bathtub chip repair kit. wandered around this huge empty store without success for awhile. finally found an employee who directed me to her manager, located the item quickly.

People hear are friendly and prices are reasonable. Have a good variety of tools and hardware you may need for personal or business.

Not sure what it is but I like this location the best. Not too big (Indiana) not too small... Just right. Not too crowded and properly staffed. Employees are great and helpful. The store is well maintained and organized. I can quickly go in and out. Not as big of a selection as some of the other locations like Indiana or Tinley Park but then again you're not walking forever to get what you needed aiding in the efficiency of a quick shop trip. Restrooms could use A LOT of work.

I've never had a bad experience here. The lines always move pretty quickly, so I'm never just sitting around waiting impatiently. Also there's always plenty of staff available to answer any questions and if they don't know, they will grab someone who does. Prices are great here too and that 11% rebate is always an added bonus.

Ms. Helene is one of your best employees. Each and every time I come in, she greets you and makes your down day a happy one. Thank you Ms. Helene. Stay uplifting!

Great store. It's like Dad's toy store. We buy most of our DIY supplies here. And we really appreciate the 11% rebate.

Went in, found what I was looking for, and some I wasn't, paid and left. I was able to go finish my project same day so happy. The one item I had to ask for location, the worker told exact isle and directions. The receipt at the bottom says now hiring, $3/hr more pay on weekends... Just FYI for that 3.9% still unemployed.

Made a quick stop today at Menard's in Matteson to pick up cabinet shelf liner. Found a great product in both 20 AND 10 inch width sizes that worked very well. Upon arriving at the store I had no idea where I should go. I asked a young employee if he knew where cabinet shelf liners could be found. He not only answered my question but he walked me to the back of the store to the correct aisle. There may be larger Menard stores elsewhere but better employees than the ones in Matteson would be impossible to find. Because they have been helpful to me numerous times, I find it's easy and necessary to sing their praises. Thanks Menards for hiring the best employees.

Had to return a defective outdoor light and all went smoothly getting a exchange. I did have my sales receipt as proof so I'm sure that helped. But they were very nice.

You gotta find Reggie in tools if you need help. No SKU, no part number, bad description, I had nothing.......BUT Reggie asked 3 questions, pulled up the picture on the phone and sent me to gardening, (as I was looking for a gardening tool in the tool section.) Great service from a knowledgeable and helpful guy. THANK YOU REGGIE!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and on line quantity on hand was right as it almost always is!

Menards is the only online inventory with any accuracy.
