Wes's Burger Shack

Thursday was a nice adventure. After I took Rick Hannah to the dentist, he really wanted a good hamburger, so I searched Google. We like the reviews for Wes's Buger Shack owned by Wes Teeters. It was a wonderful lunch, great burger, and onion rings. One of the things I really liked was that there was not much salt added, which would be an awesome place for my mother to eat because of her sodium restrictions due to her kidneys. This way, the individual can add as much or as little as needed. Fantastic customer service!! I took a picture, and my bun was flopping open, but it had just the right amount of veggies to accompany the great tasting meat and cheese. So if you are looking for a great burger and are in Temple, Texas, then look them up, you will be glad you did!

Talking about great food and phenomenal customer service! I ordered a fish plate with salad and fries. The salad was not with my order. I called to discuss and Mr. Wes himself immediately and enthusiastically demanded to bring the salad to me. He delivered it to me with the Biggest heartfelt smile and a Hershey to compliment. Wes’s burger shack has my vote for being one of the Best!

Wonderful place to experience top-notch comfort food with truly friendly southern hospitality. During my visit with friends, the owner came out to announce that anyone not having a place for Thanksgiving would be welcome here. They will be serving a family style Thanksgiving meal, so bring a dish. What a wonderful way to give back to their community. I was very much amazed by his generosity.

This is a wonderful restaurant for us all. Look at the daily specials. The alternative is their great variety of burgers. Also their fries, onion rings. Excellent desserts too

This man is a staple in the Temple community. Wes supports those that can't always support themselves and/or gives back to those that have helped us. Support this business. Food is always great. Portion is fabulous for prices. Best burgers!!

The chicken fried steak is to kill for. This place is better than a A+. Wes girls are very friendly and you can tell their all team players. If you haven't eaten their, you must go try their food. You will be glad you did and you will find yourself bragging about how good they are. I did and still do. So go eat at Wes's, YOU WILL LOVE IT.

My wife and I live in Ohio, but visit my brother-in-law in Belton, TX at least once a year. We always make it a point to get to Wes's! Last week I ordered the fried pork loin and OH MY GOSH! The dang small portion was hanging off the plate and easily the best I have ever experienced! Funny thing is; the burger I had on our last visit was also the best! And I haven't even started on the excellent service and personal greeting by Wes, himself! They definitely do it right at Wes's...

Food was great, HUGE portions. The triple is a TRIPLE. Staff was awesome and place was very cozy. Would definitely recommend

Stopped in to have a burger. I saw they had a triple cheese burger, so I thought I would give it a go. As I was just looking at how the goodness was coming out, the burger, the waitress, came up to me and said "hey I don't know if you noticed but Wes (owner of the restaurant) realized that the burger he sent out was only a double meat and not a triple meet, do you want me to take it back and add the third patty or change it to a double?" OH, I told her make it a triple, so she took back and when she brought it back out, man! It was delicious and will be back again. Also, while we were there, the owner came out and thanked everyone for coming to his restaurant. He said there are 100 different restaurants in Temple and wanted to thank us for choosing his. Nice guy.

Went there for a late lunch with my family, tías, tío, cousin, and my sister. The service was over the top on every part of our meal. We were met with a welcoming disposition through the refills, the many requests we had, and finally, the check. The food was all outstanding. Our order of good sized burgers, full plates of chicken fried steak, cat fish, hamburger steak, and two large orders of homemade onion rings all were delicious and amazing. I highly recommended Wes' Burger Shack!

My favorite place to get a burger! The food is AMAZING and cheap! Also, he has the friendliest staff! Everyone is always so bubbly and happy to be at work!

This place checks all the boxes. Taste, customer service, quick and affordable. We were just passing through. Sure glad we did! The owner even came out and thanked us for coming.

First time to eat at Wes's Burger Shack, loved the food choices. I got the burger and it tasted wonderful and was just as I ordered it. The onion rings were off the chart good.

Excellent food and service. We had catfish and hamburger steak lunches that were great quality and tasty.

Loved the vibes. Fantastic waitress. Delicious cheeseburger made to order. Big ole sweet tea. Beats the price, time, and quality of McDonald's by a landslide. All during lunch hour. Absolutely worth the honor of being my new favorite burger spot.

The second I inhaled in here I knew it would be good. The staff is friendly and has rapport with their regulars. I had the cheeseburger with mustard, the onion rings, and the pecan pie.

Onion rings have a very "neat" bite, as in the onion severs nicely and doesn't pull out of the batter. The onion flavor is nice and fresh. They are crispy and not overly greasy.

Searching for burgers is what brought me here, so I ordered the cheeseburger with tomato, pickle, lettuce, and mustard, and it stayed fluffy and held its structure while I ate it. Delicious.

I had the pecan pie cold. Very rich, very noticable vanilla in the filling, very satisfying way to end the meal before getting back on the road. Get some coffee with this.

I went a little out of my way while passing through to eat here. If you get the opportunity I strongly recommend that you do the same!

Stopped by on our way home to San Antonio, TX. Great reviews! Customers were right! Staff was extremely friendly and made you feel like part of their family. Owner came by all the tables to welcome you. Service and food was excellent. Would highly recommend when going through Temple! 😀😀

I have never actually been to this location but my dad will bring me a burger when he is driving home from temple. I can honestly say it's one of the best burgers in Texas.

Excellent burgers, awesome price, great onion rings, and good friendly service.
Also very charitable. While we were there, the owner offered bags of produce to whoever needed it because he received a surplus delivery.

The best burger I've ever had but the customer service is even better. Never been to a place that makes you feel so at home along with great food and amazing prices
