When in the area, I will be back. The ribs were definitely better than most.
I like the dry rub wood flavor. The Blueberry sauce very good. Need recipe!! Price's compared to other places are in line or cheaper here. Went to Cody's, and a half rack is 15$, and they sucked. The Hot dog with chilly was so so good. You have to try it. Thank u for smoking such great meats.

I have to say "Way to go Fat Boys"!!👏 We loved the new setup, furniture, decor, and food! Hostess and Manager were very welcoming and attentive! The food?? Ribs were great, and you get so much!! Potato salad was the best I've ever had at a restaurant! I was nervous because I can't eat bbq sauce, so I was hoping the chicken would have great flavor without it. It was delicious!! So much flavor!! Cornbread with jalapeños had the perfect combination of sweetness and flavor!! The okra was great, nice and fresh. I love food, and I'll try anything at least once. First of all, I'm not big on beans or macaroni & cheese. They both were perfect!! Macaroni wasn't overdone, and the combination of different cheese was so good!! The beans...I cant explain it, but they were really good!! Lots of flavor in all the food! We'd go back and order it all over again and try more without hesitation!

Just wanted to thank Fat Boys BBQ Ocala for allowing our small party of 62 folks to come in last night and enjoy AYCE wings! YES I said 62 And of course $10 buckets of beer!! We all had a blast playing trivia with with Imagine Entertainment.
Food was great….. service was amazing….. Watch out next time Salt Springs is coming for those fall off the bone ribs🤤

It was our 3rd weekend in a roll. 1st weekend they were sold out of food at 6pm. The following weekend we took my husband's parents. All of us love this place. So much so my husband and I came back just us this Saturday. If we drive over an hour to eat at your place. It must be delicious! JS

We loved it so much we had to go twice in two days! Second time (today) we ordered enough food to take home for dinner for a couple days - maybe if we can control ourselves 😁😉
First time (yesterday) we ordered two brisket plates, each with a choice of 2 sides. It came with several nice sized slices of brisket, nice smoke ring, great flavor, and juicy! The sides we received were hot and plentiful! We even ordered extra sides for only $2 each and they were full sized! So much food! We were very happy with their sauces - we loved all of them! How often is that true? Never before! 😋 Sides we ordered - fries okra, corn on the cob, four cheese macaroni and cheese, baked beans, Cole slaw, and a baked sweet potato. Our bread was jalapeno corn bread made with diced peppers, just enough for some spicy flavor! Deliciousness all the way around. 😁👍🏻Huge portions of everything. Fried okra was crispy, hot and a lot; the baked beans were a big hit with peppers and chunks of meat, just a little spiciness which was perfect!! Yum! The baked sweet potato was perfectly cooked, soft tender inside. My hubby loved the sides, devouring the Mac n cheese! I had to grab some and it was delicious 😋 creamy and very cheesy. What a feast and for such a good price. About $30! No Wayyyy!! Yep!! 😋😊😁
Ok, so I'm a good cook myself and I have a couple of suggestions for them- One, the corn needed to be more smoked or maybe fried in butter. Throw some spices on it, too. Cajun or garlic herb? Yum! Two, chop up the slawa little more, add mayonnaise, sugar, salt and pepper. Or make it unique with apple cider vinegar! It was dry - I like mine a little wet, and seasoned. Cabbage can be hard to chew when it's in long pieces. I doctored it up and it was perfect.
AND THIS: I need a Fat Boys BBQ in Baker County! 👍🏻😁 Please! 🙏🏻
We can hardly wait for dinner. We ordered the Six Gun Feast which comes with 4 meats and 4 sides, plus cornbread and Texas toast. Of course I ordered extra sides. 😉😁

I ordered a catering for 15 to 20 people. Not only was the food amazing, but it was the perfect amount of food. This place closed and new mangers / owners took it over. It is always hard to know if the food will be good with new owners. But they did not disappoint. The brisket was to die for. I will be back and so will the people I served this too. Enjoy, we sure did.

I personally did not eat anything while here however everyone in our group devoured their food and said it was amazing. We set outside due to having dogs with us and there were plenty of tables as well as mostly being covered. The staff here was very friendly and service was fast.

Very good BBQ!! Definitely eat here- they are the only place in town that makes HOMEADE banana pudding from scratch! We went for all you can eat ribs and they were fall off the bone good! We also tried the chicken and brisket. Brisket was tender and not fatty.
Portions are generous. We had fried okra, mac and cheese and baked beans. We also like their garlic toast. Oh and their ranch was yummy, now one of my top faves! The tea was fresh and the staff was awesome. We will definitely go back!!

everything was amazing, first time here and workers were so generous. we thought we weren't even going to get served , due to it was just before closing time. But, we got the upmost service and very enthusiastic workers. The smokehouse burger is absolutely delicious! The brisket is smoked to perfection ! 10/10 recommend!

We stopped here after a few hours at Silver Springs and so glad we did. First you’re greeted with the smell of smoked meat right in the parking lot.
The restaurant is very clean and tidy. The ordering system very clearly explained by signs and the server. Basically like most bbq places you order and pay at the counter and they bring your food out to you. It was easy and efficient. The server was extremely helpful and kind and even got a drink for our young son who was getting inpatient with us trying to decide what we wanted.
We had a somewhat large party of 7and we choose to sit outside since it was beautiful out. We came early evening so it wasn’t an issue for us to take up two tables. The seating outside was just clean and well kept.
The food was delicious. Tbh I’m picky about bbq because of my husband and I usually find myself feeling he could have done better. But it was not the case here. I got the brisket dinner. The meat was so tender and not fatty at all. The sauces they have went perfectly. I mixed the Caroline with the spicy and it was chef’s kiss 🤤🤤. I got the sweet potatoe and corn with it and both were excellent. I loved the variety in sides and that you can pick if you want something heavier or lighter and that wasn’t all fried choices. The cornbread was also very good. I also tried the coleslaw which I am also picky about. It was fresh, great crunchy texture, and the perfect amount of sauce to it. Overall I finished my entire plate which I can’t remember the last time that happened.
My husband got the spares ribs with Mac n cheese and toast and the fried Mac n cheese balls. He said everything was delicious and he too finished everything. The rest of our party all really liked their food as well. The chili I was told was very good as well as the burnt ends and the fat boy sandwich.

ALSO my husband was most impressed with the fact they carried Busch light in bottles 😅😂 he’s from Missouri and this is the first he’s been able to order it outside of his home state.

Overall efficient & excellent service with friendly staff, delicious food, and for the prices we thought we had time travelled back to 2019 😂😂 so very reasonable!

Excellent food. Brisket was great. Beans out of this world, crispy golden fries, and BBQ sauces were fantastic! Kudos to Jessica, friendly and helpful.

Very good barbeque! We really enjoyed everything we had. I had the ribs & brisket with corn on the cob & coleslaw for my sides. The meat was juicy & tender. There was a light smoky flavor to the meat but not overpowering. They have 4 barbecue sauces that are on the table to put on your meat. There was a Carolina sauce, Sweet sauce, Spicy sauce & a Blueberry sauce. All of the sauces had good flavor.
The corn was moist & sweet with a light smoky flavor. The coleslaw was fantastic. My spouse had the pulled pork sandwich. It was piled high with delicious pulled pork. That meal came with french fries which were also quite tasty. We will definitely be going back again!

Everyone was extremely nice and food was great!! Large portions and great tasting barbecue sauce.. Can’t wait for my next trip to Ocala to eat there again

Visiting from Montana. Fat Boys has great service. Great food. Lovely staff. And the best management 👏. 10 out of 10 recommend!!! Been coming here since I was a kid. The new owners have really cleaned the place up, redecorated everything, and they've surpassed what this place was and have brought it into a new prime. 👌

First off. The best resteraunt potato salad I have ever had. We had a combo plate with three meats and three sides. Everything was on point. We opted for the chicken, pulled pork and a double order of ribs. For sides we had potato salad, beans and mac n cheese. I have nothing negative to say about any of the food. Will definitely make the drive from Tampa to eat here again. Highly recommend.

FatBoys accommodated our end-of-season swim banquet for 70 people. The service was quick and friendly, the food was delicious and portions were very generous. Chris, the manager, was very helpful with booking the event and is quick to respond to any questions I had while scheduling.

I recently ate at Fat Boys and really enjoyed the wing deal. Great value! And the Wings were fantastic. The wings are initially smoked and then flashed fried. Best wings I ever had. Check them out.

So so good. I tried the chicken wrap with sweet potato fries that day, so so good and my husband had the all you can eat wings abs fries They brought him out 20-25 wings and that was all he could do. Had to get a box for the rest of his and the other half of mine. And we got dessert and took home home for later, banana pudding for him and banana peanut butter cake for me and they were so yummy. Oh yah she also have us a piece of jalapeño corn bread fresh out of the oven to try, and I'm so glad she did. They are the sweetest, most friendly people. 💕

We went for all you can eat wings and let me tell you, this place is amazing! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was awesome! Oh, and the prices are very good… where else can you get yummy AYCE wings for $16. We enjoyed every moment and will definitely be back there very often!

Very good BBQ. Had a great lunch. The blueberry Chipotle sauce is awesome. Real good green beans too.. ribs were tender and juicy.
