Silver Springs Diner

First time visit for us after a long day of traveling. We made it there for a late lunch at 3 and were the only guests, they close at 4. We had excellent service and the recommendations from Krystal for the homemade burgers and country fried steak was great! We will definitely try them again for breakfast while we are in town. The sweet tea was really good southern style. Only thing I would suggest would be a filter or something, my daughter got ice water and it had a funny smell and taste.

First time here... outstanding service, cleanliness, nice open atmosphere, great food, big portions and fair pricing. The fresh county fried steak and homemade biscuit (with homemade strawberry jelly) was delicious - they even have a rewards program that actually gives you real savings. Pretty much met all of the staff, all with positive and professional demeanors. Stacy C. was our wonderful server so please ask for her. Definitely will be back again!

The chicken shawarma was delicious with extra sauce and the cilantro fries are a must. Very garlicky and salty just like I like them.

First time going to this restaurant food and service was very good I enjoyed it and would go back.

When you walk in it's like you stepped back in time to the 50's. I was waiting for Fonzie to come in.. The service was great, the place is very clean and even has a bar with stools. It also has a big eating area in the back great for a big lunch meeting. Now let's get to the great food, inexpensive, great selection and I highly recommend.....

Great place. A true "diner". Scent of coffee and clatter of dishes. Real buttermilk pancakes are hard to find these days. You'll find them here and they are big. Seem to be run by locals who hire locals too. Wonderful.

Today I had lunch at the Silver Springs Diner and it was amazing as always. High quality food, good service, and huge portions. My Patty Melt was a perfect medium rare, just as I requested. My friend's Club Sandwich was HUGE. We both chose Onion Rings to go with our meals and they were crispy and sweet, not greasy at all. We split the Garlic Cilantro Fries and they were outstanding.
This is a few miles from my house. If it was across town I would say it would be worth the trip to go there.

Beautiful retro themed diner! Awesome employees. Jacqueline was our server for the afternoon. Her personality was just what we needed. High spirited, Beautiful smile, awesome positive energy! The customers were steady. I had the fish and chips basket and it was good. The fish was battered and fried to perfection as the fries were seasoned just right. My girl had a Rueben on pumpernickel and it was too good! This place is another Ocala gem just waiting to be explored! Hats off to the entire staff!! Awesome job!

Great traditional diner food. The buttermilk pancakes were...well, I'm hesitant to use the word perfect, but I can't think how you could improve them. They're huge, fluffy, with just a hint of crispy around the edges... The biscuits and gravy were also fantastic, and the half portion is a great size for getting something to go with (like, maybe, a short stack of buttermilk pancakes...?)

The exterior is plain as can be, but the interior has that cool '50s vibe, and the service was friendly and attentive.

This place has a lot of good reviews for a reason.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Incredibly friendly staff. Food comes quick and HOT. Everything was delicious. You liked it so much that we went there every day we were visiting.

My husband and I LOVE this place! The staff is so friendly and everything is made fresh in house! The only thing I didn’t enjoy here was the corned beef hash. It had cheese in it and it just wasn’t my favorite, but everything else is absolutely delicious and decently priced!

Disregard the "tired" appearance if this place. The inside is nice and clean, staff is super friendly, and tge food is tip top.

We have gone several times and had great service on each visit. Their food is always good and restaurant is very clean. Highly recommend!

"Grands" said, the meatloaf was very good and the mashed potatoes were real. Hubby, had a breakfast meal of biscuits and gravy, also, very good. I had the chicken shawarma, which will be a repeat! Service was great.

This is amazing little gem tucked away in an area that looks to be coming back to life. Very clean and welcoming, with a great classic dinner feel. Derive was friendly, informative and all around great. The menu was classic southern dinner fair and the food was prepared to perfection. Nothing was greasy or over cooked. The country fried steak was fresh, and the breading was so flavorful. The house made sausage and jam were both exceptional. This will be on the top of our list the next time we are in the area.

Everything was amazing from the time we walked through the door until the time we ended our meal our server, Stacy C did not miss a beat the food was reasonably priced made from scratch and amazing. Will definitely be back in when you

They don't disappoint with the way they treat every customer, even the cranky ones, and the food is prepared with care. They have a system that gives you discounts for return business as well.
The place is simple inside, nothing fancy but nothing ugly either.

I love the oldies music they have🎵 my favorite so far that i tried is the chicken gravy sandwich! Super delicious😋
