Brockway Mountain Lookout

Such a beautiful spot!! You drive all the way from the beachside and you get a chance to see almost all of copper harbor. Cellular and satellite communications are available on the top of the mountain.

Breathtaking. Our hotel attendant recommended this location and it was everything. Popular but there was room for everyone. Bring a chair or blanket to get really comfy.

Incredible view of both Copper Harbor, as well as Lake Superior. Very calming hikes during the spring months.

If you are in Copper Harbor, you HAVE to stop here for a bit.

Beautiful and scenic drive, easy to get to in a vehicle. I highly recommend to the average traveler to check out, but if you have kids, keep them close or have a close watch over them as there are ledges and little to stop you from going over it.

This was a quick stop but the views are worth stopping to see.

Our day was blustery, overcast and it was stunning even with those challenges. Based on my pictures you can see the brillant colors and Lake Superior all in the same spot. The Mountain Bike Trails exceeded 100 miles and the ranged all difficulty levels. The drive up is gorgeous and the information about the area on the top left me in awe of the area even more.

Beautiful views of Lake Superior including Isle Royale on a clear day, lakers (big ships) up bound and down bound, mountains, lakes, Eagle Harbor. Can sit for hours. Gift shop is no more.

Brought my 2 pups to the designated dog beach in the park, and they had a blast! So many cool rocks and the shore was pretty long so plenty of space for families and huge groups. The workers there were friendly and keeps the grounds clean!

One of the rare high points in Michigan. A beautiful overlook. Seasonal road. I'd recommend driving the entire Brockway Mountain drive. We were up there the first week of October and the colors were bursting. Pure Michigan!

We went up therecto catch milkyway in the night.
Drove all the way from munising to copper harbor and it was worth it.
Sunset views are just incredible!

Easy little walk up to the lookout. Amazing view of the bay and lighthouse off in the distance. Must see if in copper harbor.

This is a great place to view the town. We were told that at night you can clearly see the sky but unfortunately it seems it doesn’t darken until late at night and we had little children so that wasn’t feasible. We highly recommend making a trip. There is no hiking involved for this site as you simply drive up to it.

Amazing drive, with multiple stops along the way. Make sure to park at the Copper Harbor lookout point, as well as the very top. Be careful on the drive- narrow roads with some crazy drivers occasionally.
An added bonus- there’s full phone service at the top! Currently Copper Harbor has virtually zero phone service so to find it on top of a dang mountain was quite a surprise.
Highly recommend coming here both in the middle of the day and in the evening for sunset.

Awesome lookout point over Copper Harbor. Beautiful panoramic views of Lake Superior and the surrounding area. Little winding round up to the lookout, but easy to access. Worth the trip for the stunning view.

Bit of a steep drive up, but the views from the lookout are amazing. Quiet place to reflect or relax for a bit.

Easily the best place to look for Fall foliage in the upper peninsula, imo. The drive up the mountain is beautiful, and the lookout has a breathtaking view of the forest on one side and lake Superior on the other.
Covid tips: the lookout is pretty large, so you can easily socially distance and still get some insta-worthy pictures. Parking available, though limited.

Beautiful views! Fund drive up in a Van. Make sure you have plenty of horse power to get up there. The way down is easy but again make sure you have good breaks. It's worth the drive! Enjoy!
