I had break problems late on a Sunday night. On my way to Minnesota. Didn’t know what to do. Went to auto parts store asked if they knew someone they recommended.doodlebinks it was divine appointment. They fixed my car in no time got me back on the road that night, and was able to make it to my father‘s funeral in Minnesota love you guys you’re the best if I lived In Ottawa, Kansas, without a shadow of doubt, doodleBinks would be my to go to shop, and I know we would become great friends Thanks again. PS they didn’t even know about my dad‘s funeral.🙏🏻❤

Absolutely amazing service and quality work. Had major transmission issues and the whole crew went above and beyond to ensure the safety of my vehicle. Very pleasant to work with as we navigated all of the issues with the parts, etc. Would highly recommend to anyone needing quality work done on their transmission!

Amazing at what they do. Calm ans patient, always making sure the job was done right!(in my opinion) our leaps and bounds better than any shop that I've been to yet!!! There aren’t enough words to express the level of professionalism and expertise of the mechanics at DoodleBinks Garage. After getting the run around at another mechanic, DoodleBinks was able to put a new engine in my son’s Honda Civic and even beat the timeline they had originally estimated. They repaired the AC that our farm truck desperately needed and completed the work in such a short amount of time for such a reasonable price, we called them immediately when our older model BMW suddenly wouldn’t make it down the road. Kenny and Cid went above and beyond for us knowing that repairing a BMW can be a financial nightmare. They spent countless hours diagnosing the car and when replacing the fuel pump didn’t fix the problem, they didn’t give up on trying to figure out the “why.” With their determination, outstanding knowledge, and sheer ingenuity they were able to replace a cracked fuel line and saved us thousands of dollars in additional parts and labor. They even tried to secretly deliver the BMW to our house after they got it running! How about that for customer service? Ottawa is so incredibly lucky to have these AMAZING mechanics I would give them 10 stars if I could.

We had to have our heater core and both thermostats replaced on our Jeep Patriot. It was quite an extensive job that required removing the dash and they did a great job getting it all done correctly and in their estimated time frame. Great customer service, answered any questions we had.

We have used DoodleBinks for several repairs on 3 of our vehicles. One was a fix from a famous car company that botched the job and DoodleBinks fixed for us! We are extremely happy with their service. We highly recommend using this repair shop for anyone needing vehicle service with great quality work, and friendly employee and owner attitude! We will keep going back whenever any of our vehicles need any repair/oil change, new tires, etc.

How Recommend! Very understandable and reasonably priced. Friendly people as well. My alternator went bad out of nowhere and they came and got my car for nothing and took it to their shop so it wouldn't get towed!!!

My power steering and Alternator quit while driving past Ottawa on Interstate 35. Crystal answered the phone when I called the shop. Due to my being stranded 2 hours from my home in Wichita, she asked they guys if they could work me in which is what they did. Before my Audi was picked up by the wrecker they already had the part I needed coming from an auto parts supplier. The repair was done quickly and efficiently, and I was back on the road! I didn't have to get a rental car. I was charged fairly and treated more like a loved one than a customer.

If you are from the Ottawa area or like I was, broke down miles from home; you need to give these guys a try!

Extremely fast, it only took three days for them to fix the motor mounts. Honest and dependable beyond expectations. I finally found a mechanic I can trust. Don’t go anywhere else. I am super pleased with Doodle Binks.

Like and Trust:
Two key components when doing business. My son attends University in Ottawa. Living in Canada I have to trust what someone is telling me over the phone. Contacted Ford service department about warranty and was told the extended 10-year warranty expired a few months prior. Asked for quote for repair. They asked for a quick look at vehicle to make sure of the repair in question. I agreed with them. I felt their quote was a little high, so I contacted a second Auto repair shop from Google. Doodlebinks.
I have a lengthy automotive background and have a good understanding of the business. After speaking with Cid, I trusted what he was telling me. Asked for a quote and it was less than the dealership. No surprise.
The Ford dealership also tried upselling my son on an unnecessary repair. At this point I was doing all the Q & A's. That made me angry. I could have easily shot the upsell down.
Cid did the repair and the job went smooth.
Going forward I told my son, just take it to Doodlebinks and don't waste your time anywhere else.

Cid and everyone at Doodlebinks was amazing!! We showed up one day when my car was not working correctly and Cid got in the car with us to see what it was doing. He worked hard to figure out the problem and find the best solution. Spent lots of time discussing options with us and then fixed the problem. Doodlebinks is priced fairly and they are honest and very helpful! I’d give them more than 5 stars if that was an option! I highly recommend!!

We were driving cross country in 90ﾟ weather. When we tried to add freon to the air conditioner , the clutch in the compressor broke.Cid was able to locate and get parts to replace the compressor , belt and hoses in one day. He also drove us to Power of the Past tractor show so we would have that to do while he worked on the truck. His work was excellent . If we lived in the area he would be our regular mechanic. We feel that God blessed us with Cid.

Once again I was greatly helped out with a problem with my car I could not figure out myself. Cid sized it up and got it fixed quickly and diligently. Great mechanic and he and his wife really do their best to do what is right!
