A really nice spot to stop off if you have an extra day or two in town. It’s extremely pretty and the beach is really peaceful. If you walk down some of the paths away from the crowds, the people die down and it gets much more quiet. I recommend going off the beaten path and getting some of the better views.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get into the lighthouse due to my own time constraints but I hope to get back inside one day!

Views nice, it's windy depending on when you come either early in the morning or after dawn. So, bring a light jacket with you, if you wanna do a mini picnic or barbecue they also got a spot for that as well. Bring clothes if your planning to take a feel for the waters!

One of the best places to visit. Beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean along with amazing view if the coast line. Light house and its surrounding area is very clean and well maintained. if you are visiting make sure to climb the staircase inside the lighthouse tower to go to the top. You have to buy a ticket for that. You could see the beautiful surroundings from the top and enjoy the wind blowing when you stand outside the deck on top of the lighthouse. Also, you could poke your head inside the room where the spinning beacon is on. Keep in mind you need to buy a ticket to go up the lighthouse. But if you wish to skip it you can freely enjoy the surroundings with no additional cost. Also, it has ample parking space and have to pay for it.

This is an iconic NYS place you may want to visit at least once. If you want to brag you’ve been to NY.

This state park is meticulously maintained so that it doesn’t interfere with the pristine setting of the park. Parking lot is big enough to accommodate big crowds during long weekends.

It’s a long drive to get here. So plan an activity or dining plan on your back near the Hamptons might be a prudent idea.

How can you not like this place, or it's history! Tour the museum. It has so much documented history of the area dating back to the native American Indians who first settled the area. The connection to our first President George Washington who commissioned the building of the very first lighthouse. The bluffs and beach, the inlet, the views of Connecticut and Block Island on a clear day. Stunning. Well worth the trip to The End!

This is one of my favorite places to take pictures like wow. We went to see the stars yesterday and also the meteor shower, and it was super clear, and there was barely anyone there! The state park is also the perfect place to see the sunrise!

Parks in pretty solid condition. Got there early in the morning and the place was empty. There are bathrooms nearby as well. Starting at 8am (maybe it was 9?) you have to pay to park.

We brought our friends who are visiting from France here today. Despite the weather being a bit foggy, the rain held out and we had a great day at the Montauk Point State Park, Museum, and Lighthouse. We were able to climb up to the top of the Lighthouse! The staff are very friendly and informative 😊

The best time to visit is during the spring or the winter months, knowing not many people around and plenty of parking spots. Road leading to this park has improved over the years. Restrooms at the lighthouse are very clean. I am not sure why swings are removed.

Love the Montauk area. And the fact that so much is protected by these interconnected parks is great. So well maintained and so beautiful.

Beautiful place to visit. But keep in mind it takes almost 4 hours from NYC.

Beautiful park. You can walk along the shore, but be careful. The rocks are large.

A nice park which features the Montauk Lighthouse and Museum. We were able to take a stroll on to the beach and we walked on the rocks to get a good view of the bluffs, ocean and Lighthouse. Although the day was cloudy we were able to get great pics. This park is nice to walk and share with a loved one or friends.

At first we got lost but you can access the beach for fishing with a permit of course. Great trail for hiking as well. Can stay wet even few days after rainy days.

northernmost tip of long island, definitely worth the trip! vast sea surrounds you on all 3 sides, and the lovely lighthouse stands just at the edge surrounded by mossy rocks.

bummed that we missed the 4pm cutoff for touring inside, but the free coastline more than made up for it.

Beautiful, picturesque lighthouse perched on the "end" point looking out over the Atlantic in Mauntok, Long Island, NY. Check the seasonal calendar for open dates and times as it closes off season.

Nice location. It's a long drive out here. Nice history. Some short nature trails lead out to the ocean. Relatively easy rockhop around the entire lighthouse, which doesn't require any entrance fee, but also doesn't gain access to the grounds around the lighthouse.

We got there after it closed but it was still worth the ride. We watched some surfers for a bit. I wonder what the guard tower in front of the lighthouse is for. It’s a beautiful lighthouse and lovely park with walking trails to the water.
