Our son was speech non-verbal at 2 years old when we brought him in to see Mary Billings. It’s been several years now but honestly you could hardly tell our son ever had communication difficulties. He’s completely social, making friends, excitedly telling us about his day and interests. I would fully recommend taking your children here for any speech, occupational, or behavioral therapy needs. The staff have been so encouraging and informative; and the progress has been more than we even hoped for the day we walked in.

As a special needs parent and a military family who have moved around the US and attended several different speech therapy offices I can tell you that we have been blown away by the attention and support we have received here at Billings Speech therapy! Everyone working here is so incredibly knowledgeable in all facets of their field, thoroughly looking at the entire picture of each child they work with and how to best support them!

Miss Kathleen is absolutely amazing with my son and always considers his sensory needs as well as his special interests which establishes such a strong connection every single time we come here! He is thrilled to run in every day and I am always learning something new, understanding a new way to help him establish those same connections at home.

We happily drive an hour away twice a week to come here because our time spent here is so worth it! Cannot say enough good things about this practice!

We have taken our child to Billings for over 2 years now. I was always concerned about his ability to communicate as I thought it might set him back engaging with others. Billings and more importantly Ms. Kathleen (who he meets with twice a week) wiped that concern away almost immediately. His progress is amazing and the way he communicates not only verbally, but non verbally as well blows me away daily. I give full credit to Ms. Kathleen for making this a fun and rewarding experience for our son. He loves going to see her and practicing what he learns at home. Highly recommend Billings.

Our family has been attending BSPS since February 2021. We have two boys that started receiving speech services following a tongue and lip tie release. Our oldest son also has Autism and Apraxia, so his therapy plan is more complex. However, we cannot share enough praise about his therapist, Erin. From day one, she has been adapting her therapy approach to fit the learning needs of our son. His speech and language has improved so much since we started thanks to the commitment and dedication that Erin has provided.

We have positive praise as well for Brooke, our youngest son's therapist. She is very caring and attentive, making sure our three year old is engaged while having fun working on his therapy plan. His speech and language has also improved significantly since we started.

We have had the pleasure to work with Mary as well as many other therapists in this office, including Clare. Everyone is professional and welcoming. My boys absolutely love going to speech twice a week because of the sincere kindness these therapists exhibit.

We loved our experience with Ms. Brooke! Our son had a speech delay at 18 months but we were told by many people he probably wouldn't qualify for the program through the state. We sought out therapy to prevent any further delays and a family friend recommended Billings Speech. Speech was a special time for my son and we were so pleased with his progress in the 10 months we attended. He loved the mornings we drove passed his preschool and headed to speech instead. I loved how Ms. Brooke would talk me through why she was doing what she was doing, as well as gave us ideas on how to work on things at home. I would absolutely recommend Billings Speech to anyone!

Ms. Kathleen is the best! I had my eldest son here for speech and she turned out life around! Best decision ever coming to this facility. We loved it so much we came back with our second son who is struggling with a language delay. Couldn’t have asked for a better therapist, I trust her fully with my sons. Thank you♥

Mrs. Brooke has done an amazing job working with my son & his feeding issues. After 10 short months, he’s confidently eating everything now and we give a lot of credit to her. This place does amazing things and has helped us navigate the unfamiliar road we were on. They gave us options outside of procedures the hospital was suggesting, and worked closely with us to find the right path for us!

Ms. Brooke at Billings Speech Therapy has been amazing with my son! He started seeing her around 17 months old for speech and language delay and has made progress in so many areas in the past 10 momths. Ms. Brooke took the time and patience to really get to know him and how he learns best. Brooke always explains her sessions and goals, and provides feedback about things he is doing well and areas to continue to work on. I would highly recommend Ms. Brooke and Billings to anyone needing SLP services for their little one!

We have been THRILLED with our experience with Kathleen S.!! Our son has made great strides in his c/s/z sounds in just 7 months! Our son sees therapists for other types of work, but Ms. Kathleen is his favorite because she makes their time SO fun with games. I don’t know where we’d be without her!!

Kathleen has been excellent to work with our child. She is patient, creative and encouraging. She is attuned to working with young children by giving choices and educating parents during therapy to maximize our program. We have seen improvement in our child thanks to Kathleen and the team. Very grateful and blessed to have them.

We have been extremely impressed. From quick response time from my initial request for assessment to a comprehensive evaluation & treatment plan for my 7 year old with articulation concerns. When her school said the sounds she was struggling with would not be able to addressed through services at school until she is 9 years old, we decided to look at private therapy. I am so thankful that we did because not only are they addressing my speech concern but identified a swallowing issue as well due to a significant tongue tie. We are on our way to correcting these concerns & our SLP Brooke has been such a resource to explain everything to me each session. I highly recommend & wish I would have brought my daughter sooner!

Several of my kids have come to Billings for different feeding and speech needs. I can’t say enough good things about all of the staff that we’ve worked with. They’re knowledgeable, kind and so supportive. In the words of my daughter “I love working with Ms Alyx. She is the best and she will help me be normal.”

Clare Goessling is amazing! We absolutely love her! She helped our 7 year old stop thumb sucking and they taught us there was actually a reason he was still sucking his thumb at an older age- he is tongue tied! She was so kind and gentle with him (never shaming) and allowed him to call her each night as part of the program and congratulated him each day for what he had done. Then, we did a lot of work and exercises to loosen the tissue under the tongue. It has helped a lot with his orthodontic work we are doing currently as well. His teeth didn't touch together before we went to Billings and started working with Clare and now they are starting to come together! I have a younger child that we will also be looking at working with Clare for speech! I requested her for our 4-year old because she is so kind and very good at working with kids. You will see progress with her and she will treat your kiddos with love! Highly recommend Clare!!

We started working with our therapist at Billings over two years ago, and have been going twice a week since. Initially, when we started, our SLP was overly accommodating to meet our needs. The office staff also provides a lot of support in terms of billing and insurance information and claims. Our therapist, Ms. Kathleen, works with my child on his sounds and muscle movement in his mouth. My child absolutely loves and is overly excited to visit, Kathleen twice a week. We’ve gone and seen many different therapists from speech, OT and PT, and by far Ms. Kathleen is one of the best therapist we have. She comes up with games to make speech therapy fun for our child. We have seen a significant amount of growth in his speech and language skills. After each session, she reviews what they worked on and what we can work on at home. She is also gone as far as printing us customized flashcards to help support our child’s development. Our therapist is also able to effectively communicate with our school therapists as well providing documentation whenever we request it. My kiddo absolutely loves coming here and often times quotes his SLP, and tells us we need to use teamwork like Ms. Kathleen does!

We had been struggling to find a practice that would really help us seek answers regarding concerns we had with our son’s speech and swallowing. Billings took the time to validate our concerns and come up with a treatment plan. Specifically our son has been so receptive to Ms. Gabi and loves going to speech each week. He is making great improvement and we are given ideas on how we can work with him at home in between sessions.

We love Emily! My son is super reserved and she was able to quickly get him out of his shell and he loves going to see her now. He has made more progress in the last few months with his speech than in the 2 years of speech prior to Emily.

Billings Speech Pathology Services has been an incredible experience. Starting when my son turned 18 months until now at almost 7, we have been through a lot of evals, doctors, therapists, early intervention services and IEPs with school. Billings has been the most warm and thorough experience of all of those combined. I still get a bit of that anxiety in my stomach when we go to a new place, fearing that they'll only see one facet to my son and be quick to label or dismiss. BSPS was very thorough and had two different therapists for the eval. When they went through their findings with me, if anything was unclear or testing below the norm, they let me know it's something that they'll keep an eye on and find out more as they get to know my son.
And then we got assigned our therapist, Clare! She is INCREDIBLE!! She has amazing attention to detail and knowledge. She is perceptive and intuitive. She is warm and patient and adapts therapy to my son to keep it fun and engaging. My son has made so much progress since starting and he truly looks forward to "Ms. Clare time"! I only wish we had started with BSPS sooner! In our case, they are able to provide more thorough therapy than what public school services can provide.
