Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Finally decided to try this place out. Glad we did. The food was exceptional, as was the service. A nice atmosphere, some classic rock playing. Prices were in line with other similar establishments. We were really pleased with this first visit.

The reviews are mixed for this restaurant but I must say when my husband and I visited we were impressed and had a really nice time. Our waitress was Annie and she was very sweet. She arrived to our table promptly, helped with menu selections as it was our first time and checked often to make sure we had everything we needed.

We ordered appetizers: Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, Garlic Parmesan Fries and a beef dish that was on a skewer. It was all really well prepared and delicious. We also had a Long Island Iced Tea and it was great! A lot of times when you get Long Island 🏝 Ice Tea one element can be too strong and overpower the whole drink but this one was well balanced and very good. Generous with the spirits as well - if you know what I mean.

The decor was really nice and everything was clean and welcoming. Great atmosphere! We really enjoyed our experience here and would definitely return. Check them out!

I loved my food, experience and atmosphere. My server Audra was amazing. She spoke well of the food I selected and I was NOT disappointed. The off the clock drink was exactly what I needed. Thank you Audra. I'll be seeing you again.

Staff was personable and welcoming. The burgers are outstanding. Best burgers I've had in a long time. Spinach lobster tail queso dip was so good, we were wanting more. Atmosphere was quiet and lights were dimmed. No wait to sit and food was brought out pretty quick.

Great food and atmosphere. Pricier than a normal night out, so I'll only visit for special occasions. They have similar prices to KC Plaza fancy restaurants like Eddie V's and Capitol Grille. Quality is just as good!

This place has a very nice romantic atmosphere. The drinks are well made, and the food is wonderful. We had crusted chicken, salad, a few other things, as we've patronized the restaurant before.

We went for lunch. We were first greeted at the door and seated in a booth. First impression, dang this place is nice. Server was very polite and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. Seared Ahi Tuna for an appetizer was perfect. So flavorful and tender. The steaks were cooked perfectly to rare. And sides were great. Would recommend for a steakhouse: Dinner date or family occasion.

Tried Firebirds on Sunday and was very pleased! Our Server was a very attentive and pleasant providing exceptional customer service. We sat on the patio which was indoors but the view was actually very pleasant. To top all of that off, the food was exceptional! We will be back for sure.

Went here with my fiancé and four children. We had just came from a restaurant that didn't have seating to accommodate our larger than average crew, so we were slightly skeptical. Thankfully they had plenty of space and even had a much larger party next to us that they kept apologizing for, even though it was no problem. We were seated quickly and our waitress was wonderful! Actually multiple employees including a manager came over to welcome us and entertain our two year old while waiting for our food. Us adults ordered a mixed drink each, which came beautiful and delicious. Our food came hot and so good! And thankfully it didn't take too long (time goes by slower with a grumpy toddler.. hahah) Everyone thought it was so cool to watch the food being cooked on the fire grill behind the glass. My salmon came out juicy and cooked to perfection. Even though someone had forgot my second side of veggies, our waitress made sure to bring it out in a to-go container for me before we left. Another waitress also made a point to tell us that they love doing birthdays and other occasions there where my fiancé informed her that it's too bad we didn't come yesterday as it was one of the kiddos birthday. She then took it apon herself to treat all the kids with a little birthday treat (on the house) regardless. The kids were very please to say the least. We were so surprised by the amazing service and good quality food! Even though the prices were in the higher range for where we typically take the whole family, we feel like it was money well spent compared to the experience we had. We will definitely make our way back next time we go through Lee's Summit.

My husband and I went Firebirds for lunch. It was our first time there. It was, hands down, delicious ! The staff was very kind and helpful, nice atmosphere. It's just a little pricey for me, but I would go there again on a special occasion. Today's occasion was my husband and I 20 year anniversary.

The family went out to celebrate a big promotion, and boy did we pick the right place. The atmosphere was perfect, the food and service were everything I expected and more. My favorite was the chicken tortilla soup. Next time I am saving room for dessert!

The food was really good. I just got the Durango burger and loved it. The waiter was very attentive to our group. Definitely a place I would go back to.

Ate at Firebirds tonight for the second time and we are so glad we gave this place another try! First time was okay, but this time our sirloin and dry aged ribeyes were amazing! Great flavor and perfectly cooked. The southwest au gratin potatoes are reason enough to come back!
Even better than our food was our server, Audra! She was so friendly, made sure to share promotions and offered to sign us up for monthly deals and birthday offers. She was so attentive, professional and funny! Definitely will be coming back for the food and her!

About time Lees Summit starts getting some high end restaurants--have only been waiting 30 years. plenty of high incomers in E Jackson Cty. Love Firebirds LSMO; great steaks and sides.

I had lunch with 6 good friends last week. The food was delicious...from chicken cobb salad, blt salad, parmesan chicken, chicken sandwich to club sandwich.The atmosphere was perfect for a great lunch with friends; it was easy to hear and converse with each other. Our waiter, Ryan, made our lunch really fun! He was friendly with a great sense of humor. He treated us to small drink samples and dessert samples...which we loved! He was attentive without being intrusive. ...and he has a great baritone voice! I definitely recommend Firebirds, and be sure to ask for Ryan as your waiter.

Brunch, lunch, or dinner…Firebirds is a great spot to get a great meal & tasty drinks. We ordered the Mojito & Bloody Mary for drinks. The grilled shrimp and fresh strawberry salad tastes great on a a hot day. The candied pecans & goat cheese make the salad a 10! We also ordered the moist Honey Garlic Chicken that is topped with balsamic colorful cherry tomatoes and served with asparagus and mashed potatoes!

Delightful meal. Excellent service from Bridgett Filet was delicious and perfectly grilled. Salmon was mouthwatering. Everything was great!

Excellent menu choices with vegetarian choices. I had the Impossible burger and our party shared appetizers including a crab cheese dip that was excellent. Our group visited for mothers day brunch, and also enjoyed mimosas and bloody marys. This restaurant is pricey ($21 for Impossible burger) but good service and nice ambiance proved it worthy of a splurge.

We were there for our sister's retirement party. Everything was excellent. Absolutely a positive experience. Will definitely be back
