Mt. Airy Medical Eye Center

Our whole family are patients at Mt Airy Medical Eye Center, and we've had a fantastic experience with Dr. Schwartz. The staff is warm and welcoming, which made our visit (s) comfortable and stress-free. Dr. Schwartz is an outstanding eye doctor—thorough, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything in detail. We feel well cared for and highly recommend Dr. Schwartz to anyone seeking excellent eye care!

I needed an emergency appointment after experiencing a chemical burn and Mt. Airy Medical Eye Center told me to come in immediately. Even though they were fully booked, they squeezed me in between appointments and were able to give me relief in a matter of minutes. I had a follow up appointment two days later and my eye was almost 100% healed. Dr. Schwartz and his staff are friendly, helpful and all around wonderful! They have found a new patient in me after my experience :-)

Mount Airy Medical Eye Center is an awesome place to have your eyes examined and to purchase your frames. Dr. Schwartz is patient and takes his time when he examines your eyes. The office staff, Casey and Mark make you feel welcome as soon as you come through the door! An overall wonderful experience. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my eyes taken care of. This practice cares about their patients.

I want to take this time on my own to write a review for Dr. Schwartz because he earned it hands down!! The office and Dr. Boaz Schwartz is a true example of greatness! This office goes over and beyond to accommodate and help their patients with everything. Every question, every concern, every issue and every fear if that. When it comes to appointments they do EVERYTHING they can to get their patient in and happy with an appointment with Dr. Schwartz. They have done it for me every single time! I’ve actually had a few emergencies within the past few months and they moved around the entire schedule to fit me in on that day if not the following day depending on the issue. They are incredible. I want to take this time to acknowledge Dr. Schwartz and the rest of the heartfelt amazing staff. It’s not often you get to go to a doctors office and be surrounded by such sweet, caring, helpful individuals. They put you at ease always!!! make you feel comfortable and treat you like an actual person not just a number or just a random patient. I loveeeeeee them!!!!!! To be honest I’m at ease everyday knowing they are mine and my son’s eye doctor for every need. Dr. Schwartz is incredibly SMART and his knowledge is out of this world! It makes you feel good knowing you have the best eye doctor. Thank you again to Dr. Schwartz for everything for always helping me when you can and always going above and beyond!!!

The staff is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable! I live in Columbia but travel about 40 min to be seen because Dr. Schwartz is thorough and takes his time. Highly recommend this place.

Dr. Schwartz and his staff are phenomenal! I moved to Baltimore but still come back to Mt. Airy because of the amazing care I’ve received here. The doctor was so thorough with his exams and explanations and Casey was extremely patient with me as I tried on contacts for the first time. Even as I wrapped up my appointment, Kelly recommended specific eye drops for me so that I didn’t have to go through the trouble of getting them elsewhere. The entire staff are fun to converse with and well educated in any question you could have. You will not leave here with fears or your questions unanswered. Thanks everyone!!

Dr. Schwartz has always been great and very thorough. He takes the time to explain, listen and get things just- right. I have had only fantastic experiences with his staff also (sorry I don’t remember names). They have always been friendly, helpful and knowledgable whether on the phone or in person. It’s a pleasure to be a patient here.

Dr Schwartz and his staff are great!! The ladies there are wonderful - very friendly and knowledgeable. They make a great addition to an already great office. Dr. Boaz Schwartz is amazing if you need anything at all, he is always willing to go out and beyond to help . I drive an hour to come here because I know I am getting the best possible Care . The staff is absolutely amazing and always helpful to all of your needs. it’s absolutely a good feeling when you go to a doctors office and everyone is smiling and more than willing to always help.
The prices are amazing and extremely affordable, especially for the quality of work. I will always recommend them

Dr. Schwartz was very professional and friendly, taking the time to get to know me as well as providing great medical care. The front office personnel were just as friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.

Dr. Schwartz Is the best!! After a long journey with my eye condition he was able to get me back seeing better than I ever had in many years. It has been an huge adjustment for me, but he was able to explain everything to me in a way that I understood in every step along the process. I would highly recommend Dr. Schwartz.

Words can't express how satisfied I am ! Am now seeing best in many years due to thr patience and professionalism of this practice! I have been a hard contact lenses wearer over 50 years and my new bifocal contacts are the beat ever! I highly recommend this practice and commend all staff!

Wish I knew about this place years ago. I had been going to the chain stores for express service, which was a mistake. First, those express shops don't take my insurance, they say they do but just give you a 10% discount. Mount Airy Eye Care takes my insurance and they have all the latest equipment. For example, they don't need to diolate your iris. They just take a picture. Very professional and helpful. If you get surprised with the need to do a vision exam by the MVA like me, come to Mount Airy. They are very customer focused and it shows.

I cannot give enough praise for Dr. Schwartz and his staff. I have pretty severe dry eye and I am finally able to see well and go about my day in comfort thanks to them. I have been provided a solution for a debilitating condition and would highly recommend them for anyone experiencing the same issues!

Dr.Schwartz , and staff make you feel like family Not just the next number on the schedule . I’m a returning patient . I couldn’t adapt to the fast pace big box eye clinics . Small town feel with the sparkle of the big stores . I’m forever their patient . Out of network for me is worth the care I always receive . Thanks everyone . See ya soon ! Dr. Schwartz was great. He explained everything and made me feel very comfortable with my vision exam. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Office was clean. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Schwartz does orthokeratology, which means that I sleep with contacts in, and take them out in the morning, and I can see all day without corrective lenses. I love it! I am so glad that I found him! I don’t ever have contact lens issues during the day anymore and I don’t need to wear glasses, ever. His staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable. Great practice!

All aspects of my visit were great. The exam and checks were done on time and very professionally. The lenses that I needed were ordered and at the office quickly and I had no problems. Thanks
