Great local shop!
Took my daughter in to try on jazz and tap shoes. It’s best to do in store since the sizing varies vastly from street shoe sizes.
The owner was extremely kind and helpful in getting her sized and helping her try on several brands to find the best fit.
She also gave us 10% off as new customers, which was great!
We ended up checking out the huge selection of new and used Leo’s and went home with a couple, plus a new skirt.
Everything is neat and tidy and well-arranged to look through.

My daughter is looking forward to a return trip when it’s time to resell her old shoes and buy the next size up!

I had no experience in the dance world and was so nervous about shopping for the proper clothes. All the staff I worked with were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and got us all set up. We loved it so much we came back a few days later to get stuff for my other child. They go the extra mile and provide both brand new and resale options in store. I'll definitely be back for all our dance needs.

Amazing experience! My toddler needed new ballet and tap shoes and was fitted perfectly by the experienced staff member. The selection of clothes is great, and very fair priced.

It is an awesome place for little one to try different sizes and get to explore all kinds of options for shoes, ballet and gymnastics. The owner is super friendly and patient while we try to make sense of this new world. They also offer a buy back program in case someone likes another class or simply grows out of the last pair of shoes.

I was there last Friday to purchase my first pair of dance of shoes, and the service, advice, and guidance were excellent! About 20 years ago, I danced a fair amount of partner/ social/ ballroom dancing in college, but I never had a pair of specific dance shoes.

Over the years, I only danced occasionally, but l have wanted to get back into partner dancing. I had a class to attend last Friday night, and I intend to continue dancing again, so I decided decided it was time to get actual dance shoes. (Especially since none of my current street shoes were very good options.)

I had a one hour class, followed by 2 hours of open dance time, and I was so happy with these shoes and the fit at the end of the 3 hours! (Excellent advice was provided at the store to ensure the best fit.)

My feet were not sore at all, and not even a hint of a blister forming. I had brought an extra pair of shoes as a backup option to the dance, expecting there to be some discomfort with the break-in period, but I did not need them.

This is a wonderful store with a great selection and comprehensive stock, including narrow width shoes across brands , styles, and sizes. Lynn was exceptionally kind and helpful, seamlessly handling a return and then helping fit my daughter in three new pairs of shoes. I highly recommend buying dance shoes in person at Encore, and they have a great selection of dance wear as well! They even have an area with secondhand items where we sometimes find nice leotards. Great store all around!

This store is a dancer’s (and dance mom’s) dream! They carry everything you need and more. I’ve been to many dance stores over the years, but none that compare to this store. Their resale corner is amazing - we’ve found so many gently used leotards and dance shoes. They always have fully stocked inventory, which I appreciate so much. I’d much rather support a small business than buy online. It’s also extremely neat and organized in a way that makes shopping for dance apparel less overwhelming. I got to know the owner, Carol, today and she was so helpful and kind! She was so patient with us as we tried to determine the right shoe size for my daughter. We will be returning customers for years to come.

If you live in the Denver Metro area and you need ballet dance wear (at the last minute) this place is a great option! My daughter needed an item for summer intensive and this place happen to have the skirt in their resale shop. The owner of the store was super helpful and immediately found what we were looking via a phone call. The best part when we drove up there to purchase the skirt, the owner threw it in for free because it had a potential stain - you could not even see it! My daughter loved all the variety of Leo’s in the store and her favorite spot was the resale side! That’s the hidden treasure of this store! By the way, you can bring your gently used items for resale - receive credit or cash if it’s considered in new condition. Plus, the store has not only things for ballet dancers, but accommodates ice skaters and gymnast too! It’s worth the drive!

We still love the encore dance emporium!! Just got another pair of ballet shoes for my daughter and as always they were most helpful even allowing her to try several brands to find the best fit for her foot! We look forward to coming back soon to see about some new leotards and tap shoes as well! Thank you guys for doing what you do!!

Great little store they were very helpful with selecting good quality ballet shoes for my daughter and my girlfriend also likes their outfits for her aerial acrobatic performances. The most appealing aspect to this store is their used section for kids, they have discounted leotards and tap and ballet shoes which is a great option for tiny dancers!!

This is my second experience at Dance Emporium for purchasing ballet and tap shoes for my daughter, and both times have been a delight. The owner provided a thorough fitting for both shoes, ensuring that we got the best custom fit. We love the So Danca brand; they’ve lasted beautifully for almost 2 dance seasons. Their resale section is also a gem for finding unique leos and tutus (especially for growing littles). I have also bought retail leotards and a dance bag that are amazing quality and have little to no signs of wear. The customer service and company values are also outstanding, and their prices are fair. We travel from Greeley just to shop here. I recommend them to all of my dance mom friends! Thank you!

Unfortunately, I only just found out Encore Dance Emporium existed! Went for the first time this week and had an excellent experience. My son and daughter were both fitted for ballet shoes (and my daughter has very sensitive feet, so it took quite some time but the employee helping us was excellent and very patient). We were able to find several things we needed in the used section for phenomenal prices, and sell some of our used items too (for very fair prices!). The prices on new items were slightly higher than what you can find at some of the discount places online, but no shipping costs, no worries about returns (dance clothes and shoes are notorious for weird sizing), and I love supporting a local business! We just had a great experience overall and will definitely be returning.

Impressive selection and wonderful staff. They found me perfect shoes and advised me on what to buy 3 years ago when I took my first adult ballet class. I've been coming back ever since and the staff have been helpful and encouraging in my dance journey. Encore is a real gem and I always find what I need here. Good pointe shoe fitters!

We took our daughter to get her first pair of ballet shoes. The ladies at the shop were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the advise for an older beginner ballet dancer. Prices were very good- 2 new pair of ballet shoes, 1 used pair, a leotard, and leggings for $50.

A great place to shop for your tiny dancer. As a dance dad, I frequently get sent for last minute dance supplies. The staff is always ready to help and able to interpret "dad speak" as I describe what I need for my little girl. They are definitely an asset during performances and competitions. They have a great supply and the friendly staff and prices to go with it.

I love taking my daughter here to get all her dance outfits and shoes. Everyone is really kind and helpful and they keep a record of the sizes and brands you purchased previously to make it easier to find what you need.
